HastGill1
Re: International Friendlies 12th-14th November Argentina v Croatia Game is being played at West Ham's ground and Croatia have sent over a pretty inexperienced squad with the crucial qualifier with Italy a few days away. Captain Darijo Srna, fellow defenders Vedran Corluka and Dejan Lovren, star midfielders Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Ivan Perisic and Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic will play no part against Argentina and have stayed in Zagreb. Argentina have named a strong squad for the game with all the usual stars - Messi, Aguero, Higuain etc. playing plus Tevez who makes his International return after a few years in the wilderness - he will get a heroes welcome at Upton Park too where he is still treated in very high regard after almost single-handedly saving them from relegation a few years ago. Croatia coach Kovac said prior to the game; "Argentina is a challenge for the players who will travel. We will see who can stand Argentina, who can come closer to the national team. If Argentina isn't a motivation for every player, he is thinking wrongly. I'm sure we can get a good result, and most players have already been with us. I wouldn't call the reserve team." I got on this a bit earlier but the price on the Argentina handicap has dropped quite a lot from 1.8 to 1.65 which looks pretty low as Croatia won't be fielding a team of mugs, but they will be a fair few players with a handful of caps starting. With Argentina fielding a strong side I would expect them to win by at least a couple, probably one to go on in-play if you haven't got on already. Argentina -1.5AH - 1.72 - bet365 - 5 Points

Argentina -1.5AH - 1.72 - bet365 - 5 Points South American teams tend to well in Europe - but this one is on neutral ground, and I'm not quite convinced by the value of that bet, although I think Argentina will probably be more motivated - and look to be fielding a stronger side. jackierubberleg
Re: International Friendlies 12th-14th November Turkey - Brasl; Brasil to win the first half, evens b365. Neymar Jnr to score 2 or more 4/1 b365 Brasil have shrugged of the spectre of Fellipe Scholari and are beginning to solidify again. Turkey are certainly not the force of old. Any team that can beat a full strength Argentina should have little fear against Turkey. Neymar junior to make the difference here.

Argentina -1.5AH - 1.72 - bet365 - 5 Points Sorry to people who followed. Bar Croatia's strong start there was only one team in it, Messi hit the post near the end and Tevez missed a one on one. Saying that the Argentina equaliser should have been disallowed. Disappointing but I would play it again any day of the week.
jackierubberleg
Re: International Friendlies 12th-14th November Cheers Louis. Pretty much a stroll in the park for Brasil. The bookies got this one wrong. Brasil were trading at 4/5 for the game yesterday morning and shrunk to 1/2 before the off. Quite a considerable difference...it appears someone whacked it. Neymar Junior is fast approaching hall of fame status in the green and yellow. I believe with a bit of luck he can go a long way towards Pele's record 77 goals. He now has 42. Thought the 4/1 for him to score two or more was a great price against a weak team. He should of had three at least.
gavanski
Re: International Friendlies 12th-14th November I am not sure where on this forum I can make post on this subject so I would ask the moderators not to hold any grudge if this isn't appropriate place. I am currently in dispute with local betting shop over first goalscorer for Argentina in last night's match. One of their arguments is that FIFA's official site claims that Ansaldi scored disputable goal although his shot was heading off goal and if the ball hadn't touched Aguero it certainly wouldn't had gone in. Based on some of my previous experiences from similar situatons, goal is always given to the player who altered the path of the ball. What I would like to know is who is in charge off giving the final verdict and is there some specific rule that could be applied in this situation. Ask the betting shop for a copy of their football rules - that should state their policy on goalscorers.
MPLouis
Re: International Friendlies 12th-14th November USA v Colombia Could USA be some sort of value at 5.5 here on neutral ground? (The game is being played at Fulham's ground, Craven Cottage in London). Colombia will probably have the edge in skill, but USA are never easy to beat. South American countries often do well in Europe, but I think North American countries do too. Record in friendlies in Europe in last 15 months Colombia W 1 D 1 USA W 2 D 1 L 1 Perhaps Colombia are being over-estimated on the strength of their showing at the World Cup?
