ricay85
Re: Southern/Evo-Stik/Ryman Premier 4th/5th October Blyth Spartans 7/5 to win at Belper - Blyth won 4-1 last week at Skelmersdale which was an excellent effort. The only defeats have been by a single goal mainly against the top sides, except the 3-0 mauling at Ashton (could have been 6 ). New players have been added including from Newcastle.Worth a nibble i feel. Also fancy Peacehaven 6/5 to beat Harrow. Two strong additions from ex Brighton players have been added to the Peacehaven squad and they should of won at nearby Lewes midweek bar a last minute equaliser. Harrow 6 defeats in 7 show things are not all smooth in camp. Price just north of acceptable.

I actually like he look of Harrow. I've seen them half a dozen times this season and they actually impressed me. They should have beaten Margate early season and do ping the ball around. Hopefully Belotti and Butterworth are on the bench - those two up front are their downfall. Both are dire.

ricay85
Re: Southern/Evo-Stik/Ryman Premier 4th/5th October LondonHibs - i agree with your point that sometimes just seeing the bare results can be misleading - seeing them in the flesh always gives a more 'rounded' view. It amazes me often when reading the match reports in the NLP, because it is as if i have been to a different game ! Thanks addpea - very kind of you to say so :)

It amazes me often when reading the match reports in the NLP, because it is as if i have been to a different game ! Thanks addpea - very kind of you to say so :) What you have to think about with the NLP is that the reports at this level will nearly always be written by a fan of the home side and thus they can be biased. I have also been to games where I have wondered if they were watching the same match as me. It happens at higher levels as well although most of the Conference games are written by proper journalists which gives a more reliable view of the match. No problem. I know Ships always used to give a round up of winning tips on the thread and I think it is good to congratulate winning tips.

Thanks addpea for keeping it going. And well done ricay85. You seem like a brilliant contributor. Hope you enjoy it here.
