After the Grosvenor closed its poker room, I followed the cash players to another casino. Continued playing £1/50p and won another £109. When I played kept hitting including nut flush with KQ when Ace fell on the flop. other Guy had AJ. Its hard to lose when you running that well. The other cash game players obviously cursed me. When I finally got home this morning went straight to the Bank to pay in the cash. ATM in Bank swallowed my cash and jammed the machine. No record of my cash and it took me an hour to persuade them I had just paid in it. Sorted in the end. Thanks for the support guys. Looking forward to the £1m WPT next month. When are you going to play Day 1. I will probably play Friday Day 1f. Saturday is a turbo. Stacks not as generous as Grand Prix at 30k instead of 50K but clock is better at 40 mins instead of 30. At the moment 190 players registered. First 3 days have had between 120 and 190 playing with around 40 getting through to Day 2 on Saturday. Tomorrow will probably be busiest day. Hope to run as well as the Grand Prix 2 weeks ago plus have my AA's hold up this time. Final day Sunday. Flop Qj7 rainbow.everyone checks. Turn a 5. Big blind raises 40,000 into a 60,000 pot. Early raiser calls. I have 60,000 left. I fold. River is K and big blind wins with a Q. Should have shoved pre flop. Get back to 100,000. 2 new players join table. One raises 6000 blind by 17,000,0ther reraises to 37000. Has been raising light. I have JJ in late. Shove putting 2nd raiser on AK. First raiser folds after about 5 mins. 2nd raiser sitting on about 300k calls. Has QQ. So I am out. Disappointing. But overall happy with my play. Best hand on day 1 was AK. 280 from 2110, players. And it was a freeroll and I still have my Grand Prix. Not bad for a penny. In comparision saw Mike Misracki loosing a bundle on roulette and overheard 1 guy on day 1 complaining he had bought in 4 times on day 1's at £500 a pop and still hadn't made Day 2.
