Jump Racing ~ Saturday 19th July

Recommended Posts

2.55 Market Rasen: Betfred Mobile Summer Hurdle (Listed Handicap) (2m1f) Market Rasen hold their big summer meeting on Saturday and the seven race card features two Listed events including a hurdle over 2m1f, which has attracted a field of 16 entries. We have no less than ten last time out winners in the line up but one that didn’t is the top weight Montbazon trained by Alan King who had a warm up on the flat at Kempton a couple of weeks ago. This horse has had his problems with injury so is relatively lightly raced for a 7yo and has only had 8 races over hurdles. His third in the County Hurdle behind Lac Fontana is respected in this company and the trainer does well here at the Lincolnshire track. Selections: Montbazon 8/1 BetVictor Pure Style 7/1 William Hill Preview: http://www.punterslounge.com/market-rasen-betting-montbazon-can-carry-top-weight-to-victory

Re: Jump Racing ~ Saturday 19th July 3.30 Market Rasen: Betfred Summer Plate (Listed Handicap Chase) (2m6f110yds) £50,000 in prize money up for grabs here in the richest race at Market Rasen this season. We have 15 runners declared and trainer Jonjo O’Neill is responsible for four of them. Stable jockey Tony McCoy has plumped for It’s A Gimme and as a result will be at the top of the market. The 7yo has only had three chases to date and won his first race over fences last time out at Worcester, beating Hollow Penny by half a length. The third has won since so the form is ok and if you look back at some of his hurdle form you would have to think he will improve on his mark of 132 so must have a fair chance today. Selections: It’s A Gimme 5/1 William Hill Creevytennant 14/1 BetVictor Preview: http://www.punterslounge.com/market-rasen-betting-mccoy-to-be-proved-right-with-it-s-a-gimme
