Re: The Greenbrier Classic > July 3rd - 6th Let's follow the vogue and go for value outsiders this week. Makes sense as the Greenbrier traditionally throws up long priced winners and contenders. David Lingmerth at 200/1 makes plenty of sense. 5th as recently as Colonial, the talented Swede is as inconsistent as they come this season, but at 133 in the FEC he needs to perform. Has decent web.com altitude form + 2nd at PGA West last season. 9th here last term. Kevin Tway at 300/1 is a rank outsider. Reminds me a little of Ted Potter Jnr. who hadn't made the transition from the web.com to the PGA Tur when he arrived in West Virginia as a Tour rookie fighting hard to stay on the Tour. Tway is a ball-striker who hasn't found greens this year, but his GIR% stats are improving and he won at the Boise Open last year and was 4th at the Cox Classic. Justin Hicks at 250/1 appears on plenty of associated web.com leaderboards and has played consistently enough to have no FedEx Cup issues has he sits 86th in the standings. 22/1 for a Top 10 might be an appropriate bet for a guy that has never placed on the PGA Tour. Scott Brown at 200/1 is also playing excellent golf this season and has put in some strong finishes on decent courses like Harbour Town and Muirfield Village of late. Decent enough scrambler who has putted well in 2014.

Re: The Greenbrier Classic > July 3rd - 6th Tournament preview: 1pt ew B.Todd to win Greenbrier Classic 25/1 Betfred (1/4 1-5) Brendon Todd has already won on tour this season having won the Byron Nelson earlier in the year. He comes here in hot form. Since that win he has a couple of top five finishes, an eighth placed finish and a top 20 at the US Open as well so the American should be full of confidence coming into this week. This track suits him well because he is decent enough off the tee and into the greens and he’s clearly putting well too so he could take a lot of beating this week. Re: The Greenbrier Classic > July 3rd - 6th Top ROW preview: 2pts M.Leishman Top Rest of the World player 13/2 Bet365 (1/4 1-3) The man I like in this field though is Marc Leishman. Leishman can be a frustrating player in that he blows a lot of good positions. He blew one last week with an ordinary final round but the fact he was in the mix around a track as tough as Congressional at least shows that he is striking it well and an easier track such as this should bring out even better form. He may not get the job done on Sunday but he can be close enough to the winner to land the Top Rest of the World player gong.
