Toulon Tournament 2014 Wednesday 21st to Friday 30th May 2014 Group A Chile U21 China U21 France U21 Mexico U21 Portugal U21 Group B Brazil U21 Colombia U21 England U21 Korea Rep U21 Qatar U21 Recent finals (i.e. winner and runner-up): France 1 Sweden 0 France 4 Portugal 1 France 0 Netherlands 0 France 3 China 1 Italy 1 Chile 0 Chile 1 France 0 Ivory Coast 3 Denmark 2 Colombia 1 France 1 Mexico 3 Turkey 0 Brazil 1 Colombia 0 France have a good record South American countries have won three of the last five competitions On past form then, France, Brazil, Colombia and Chile could be contenders to win the tournament. Perhaps Portugal, Mexico and England could be surprise winners? China, Korea Rep and Qatar look real outsiders. Re: Toulon Tournament 2014 ~ Chile U21 v Mexico U21 - Full Time 2-2 ~ A fair result for both teams. Chile scored very early (in the first minute) and from then on it was an open contest. I thought Mexico were going to win it after they equalized but didn't happen. Anyway, fair result and 3 Bets which came in for me! Happy days!

Mexico should have won against Chile the other day and China, like you said, they had some impressive performances this year. I'm all in for the goals in this one. Both teams won - and although France had much tougher opposition in Portugal, Brazil really impressed me v Qatar. Bear in mind they had already qualified, and could afford to lose the game. They ran out 7-0 winners, and could have had more. Most of the Brazil squad play for top Brazilian sides like Sao Paulo, Cruzeiro and Gremio - it looks as though a lot of them will be future stars for Brazil. France's squad is largely from teams like Rennes and Nice. I think Brazil are a class above here and if they apply themselves like they did in the Qatar match (and their motivation should be much greater here), they should be shorter odds. They looked very good on the counter, so I think if they get the lead, they could quite easily get more goals. Result: France U21 2 Brazil U21 5 Brazil AHO 1.9 Marathon Stake: 9 points Bet won :ok Stake: 9 points Return: 17.1 points Brazil -1 EH (i.e. Brazil to win by 2 goals or more) 4.8 Stan James Stake: 3 points Bet won :ok Stake: 3 points Return: 14.4 points Total stake: 12 points Total return: 31.5 points Comfortable for Brazil in the end, but they had their work cut out because France started well and lead twice in the first half. But once Brazil got in front, they were very impressive both individually and collectively.
