MLB season starts tonight - and Boston looks the pick

In the pre-official opener, Boston Red Sox are playing the Yankees and I (and most other punters as I have just checked) can't believe my eyes after seeing the odds. Yankees are surely favourites, but such long odds-on? No way. Wells can claim nice figures against NYY - transl. he pitches well here. On the other hand, NYY can claim nice stats @ home @ these odds too (22-4 @ home when odds between -200 and -220 anf totals between 8 and 9). Moreover, Boston are 0-2 in the first road game @ similar odds while NYY are 3-0 in the same mirror position. Finally - the last time Boston played the first game after winning the World Series (they are defending champions now) - they beat the Yankees 10-0. :ok To sum it up - Boston @ the odds of 2.79 *Pinnacle* looks massive value, but I'll keep the stakes low as this is the very first game of the season and we are talking about two pretty good lineups. However, no way I would miss this opportunity.;)

Re: MLB season starts tonight - and Boston looks the pick Agree Tulenos. I was intending to have a large bet on the yankees last week but I though they would be priced up at 5/6 each. Randy is a great pitcher but theres no doubt who the value is tonight, the 2.80 plus on the Bo Sox looks too good considering they still have 90% of the stunning batting lineup of last year.
