Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 29 Alfreton v Nuneaton Alfreton deservedly lost to Halifax in front of the BT Sport cameras on Monday night but that can be excused as Halifax played well and they have only lost once at home all season. Alfreton had won their previous three games albeit against relegation teams, but their home form is strong and only two teams have beaten them at home all season. Nuneaton's season seems to be tailing off and losing their manager to Wrexham has not helped. They lost 2-1 to Braintree on Thursday night and to have another tough away trip less than 48 hours is going to be a tough ask. Even money with William Hill about a home win looks a decent price. Cambridge United v Barnet The away side had been in terrible form until beating Hereford last Saturday. Martin Allen has come in as manager prior to that win and obviously he will be hoping to get the side into the play-offs. He might well improve them, but beating Hereford doesn't really say an awful lot at the moment and this game will be a much tougher test. Cambridge have blown the title after some poor league form in 2014, but their FA Trophy win just might get them going again and no doubt the players will want to be back at Wembley in May. They had a really good 3-0 victory at a Salisbury side who had only lost two home games all season beforehand. I think we will be seeing the Cambridge we saw in the first half of the season again and at even money with Bet 365 I think the look a solid bet. Hereford v Grimsby The home side are in big trouble both on and off the field. It has been a long time since they won a game of football and they need nearly 80 grand in the next couple of weeks otherwise they won't even see out the season. Grimsby need to keep picking up the points to make sure they get in the play-offs and although I am not there biggest fan they really should have way too much in hand over a sorry Hereford. Coral's go 5/6 about an away win and it really should be shorter than that. Woking v Wrexham Kevin Wilkin admitted he has a lot of work to do at Wrexham and it will all be about sorting the team out for next season. They struggled against Salisbury last week and I think they will do on Saturday against a bang in form Woking. The home side have been massively inconsistent this season, but finally they seem to have found a bit of form having won four out of their last five. Their last game was actually on 17th March when they became the first team to beat Luton at home this season. It was a great performance and if they play like that again they shouldn't have too many worries about seeing off a Wrexham side building for next season and the 5/4 with Ladbrokes looks a good price.

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 29 Gateshead - Braintree Conference Premier England Saturday 29/3 16:00 Prediction: Gateshead Odds: 2,07 Stake: 5/10 units Bookmaker: Pinnacle Sports Braintree plays well during an very busy period, currently they are placed 5th and on the last play-off spot, however with a few games in hand. Gateshead is a team we rate quite highly, showing decent form winning 2 in a row and not lost in 5. A experienced team, very good to keep the ball between them. We think Braintree might struggle here, and will have to do a lot of running to get hold of the ball from Gateshead. Homewin for us!

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 29 Tamworth - Lincoln Conference Premier England Saturday 29/3 16:00 Prediction: Tamworth Odds: 3,06 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Pinnacle Sports A must win for Tamworth! Currently they are 23rd, 10 points behind Hereford. We back them here against a Lincoln side who should be clear from the relegation threat, currently placed 15th, 15 points ahead of the drop. But Lincoln are unlikely to have any chance on the play-off spot. Motivation should clearly be on the home side here. Lincoln also have 3 players suspended. Last chance for Tamworth, must win! We think they will get their first 3 pointer since beginning of March, Lincoln will not enjoy playing this physical & desperate side on this narrow pitch!

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 29 Dartford - Macclesfield Conference Premier England Saturday 29/3 16:00 Prediction: Dartford Odds: 3,05 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Pinnacle Sports Dartford playing quite well recently, currently placed 22nd, 5 points from safety, however with one game in hand. Macclesfield won two in a row now, both at home and are now safe from relegation. Motivation clearly on home side here, also they are a decent team at home, Macclesfield nothing special on the road. We back Dartford here!

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 29 A few spreads for me: A sell of Welling's mini-performance at 22 (Sporting, Spreadex). Welling are not in as punchy form as they have been, which has been partly due to missing bodies, and they only managed three on the bench midweek. Although they will be stronger today, they face a Chester who have away games at Grimsby and Cambridge to come, so this is their best opportunity of something significant on the road, and given Welling's scoring problems (one goal in four) I can see Chester getting the lead and sitting on it. Chester have some team issues of their own but the incomers this week should add some freshness. I've sold the 2nd Gateshead goal at 75 with Spreadex. Gateshead stutter was largely due to missing bodies, but they are getting back to full-strength now (Marcus Maddison is a key returnee today), and they have a pretty decent run-in to keep them focused. To add to what Boggen says above, Braintree have - of course - been one of the stories of the season, and after a full week of football they now face trips to Gateshead, Southport and Halifax (Sat, Tues, Thurs). They haven't been doing that much circulating of bodies - they don't have that many to circulate - and it is sure to catch up with them. In tactical terms, Gateshead's zip-and-run style can be relatively easy to defend against, but only if you have a fully fit defensive unit prepared to run and cover for 90 minutes. Gateshead don't score enough goals for the chances they create, which is a worry, but today could be a day that they do and the supremacy at 0.55 with Sporting is also worth buying. I've also sold the second Alfreton Town goal at home to Nuneaton, 73 with Sporting. Addpea makes the fixed-odds case for Alfreton well, but I'd say they showed some decent attacking form towards the end of the game against Halifax and they look much better on the front foot rather than trying to contain. They will surely be going for Nuneaton's windpipe from the off.

guys what about halifax - luton
Skipping it now. I think any result could happen and although I still think Halifax are a tad big I am not confident of them winning to want to get involved. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 29 Pretty poor on the spreads today, with none of my match scenarios working out - Alfreton didn't score two for 17 point loss and Gateshead didn't score two for a 15 point loss. Heed's probably undeserved winner at least meant a profit on the supremacy bet, while Welling's superb win should have made up 40 on the mini-performance for a hefty loss, actually came in at 25 because of the red card for a much more bearable few points down. Good shouts by addpea on Woking and Grimsby, and by Boggen on Gateshead and Dartford.
