Hey guys, my name is Shaun and I am new to the online gambling community. While I have limited resources to play with, I have played some poker but I lost around 500 euros the last couple of months. That was a shock to me and i wanted to get into the techniques and tricks of online gambling. I am willing to participate as much as i can to this community but i need somewhere to start. Sooo question no.1: Is there a way to limit my losses or could you guide me to some tips? Thanks and sorry for the newb post, if there is a better place to post it, please let me know :)

Re: Hello guys! Newb post here Hi Shaun As a beginner I would concentrate on low buy-in, one-table SNGs which are highly flexible in terms of schedule and are good fun. Many sites incl. the iPoker ones offer beginners tables, good way to learn the tricks. This should help you get some experience and hopefully reduce / limit your losses, maybe turn in a small profit. Long term profit in poker in general is a difficult goal to reach though tbh, but not impossible. I would say that outside of general knowledge of the techniques, self-discipline and patience are two very important elements to aim for. :welcome Fred

Newb post here Dont chase it shaun welcome to the forum people here are very informative and advice given my warbirds is bang in bankroll management and patience need to go hand in hand im no expert but they are players here who know more about the game and advise on leaks or gameplay etc etc

Re: Hello guys! Newb post here If you want to limit your losses then maybe you would consider limiting the money you'll used in playing poker. Luckboxnemo is right, you should never ever chased what you've lost because it'll going to be an endless cycle; You win, you lose and then you'll chase. Anyway, good luck! :)

Re: Hello guys! Newb post here Hey thanks for the warm welcome! Unfortunately those last weeks i tried and failed many times in poker, even when i followed your advice guys. I think i will let go of this game, even if i like the feeling of it, i will try some casino or slots...anyways thanks for your replies :)
