440 Newmarket Salviati @ 18/1 Stan James - each way 5 out of 6 of this horses wins have come in July and August. After a spell rated in the 90's he now looks attractive off a more realistic mark of 80, the lowest its been in a while. Something that also caught my eye is that he has spent 90% of his career racing in Class B and C races, (and generally performing well). This is a Class D. The last time he ran in this grade he won off a 3lb higher mark. The amateur jockey takes off a further 5lb's and his confidence should be high after winning his last ride. A competitive race i admit but the price is generous and worth an each way bet i reckon.
