impressivegol
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th I've gone for Coventry HW. Carlisle haven't kept a clean sheet away from home since November and don't think they can match Cov's firepower. Delfouneso is a doubt but he did go through training today. andypaps28
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th [h=1]League One Opta Facts –18-19 February[/h] Source : William Hill Opta stats Bradford v Port Vale The Bantams are without a home win in 10 games at home in the league, the longest current run (D7 L3). Port Vale are unbeaten in their last five league games away at Bradford City, conceding just one goal over that period (W3 D2). Gary Jones has been involved in four of Bradford's last five goals in League One, scoring three and assisting another. Port Vale have lost four of their last five league games away from home (D1) and have failed to score in three of those games. Bradford City are without a league win 13 attempts, their worst run since November 2000 in the Premier League. Doug Loft has scored three times in his last three games for Port Vale, but all of these strikes came at home. Coventry v Carlisle The Sky Blues have managed just one win in their last four attempts against Carlisle United in the league (D1 L2). The Cumbrians have lost four of their last five away at Coventry City in league competition (W1). Coventry have conceded in each of their last 14 league fixtures, the joint-longest run of any League One side this campaign. Carlisle are winless in seven league games on the road, the longest current run in the division (D1 L6). The Sky Blues have drawn three of their last four home games, winning the other and seeing a total of 16 goals scored in these matches. Carlisle United have led in just four away games this season; fewer than any other League One side. Crawley v Tranmere Crawley Town have never beaten Tranmere Rovers in the Football League (D1 L2). Tranmere Rovers have scored 10 goals over their previous three league meetings with Crawley Town. Crawley have won just one of their previous seven league games at home (D3 L3). Crawley have played just twice in League One in 2014, drawing both games 2-2 away from home. 62% of Crawley's goals this season have been scored after half-time, a league-high proportion. Tranmere Rovers have let in 11 goals in the opening 15 minutes of fixtures this season, more than any other side. Leyton Orient v Stevenage The O's have lost four of their last seven home league games (W2 D1). Stevenage have only registered one win in five league matches against Leyton Orient (D1 L3). Leyton Orient have accrued 21 points from losing positions in League One this season, more than any other side has managed. Only Notts County (65) have been shown more yellow cards than Stevenage this season (59). Orient have scored in all but one of their 31 league fixtures this season, finding the net in each of their last 15 games - the longest such run in League One this term. Stevenage have lost five of their last six League One games away from home, drawing the other. MK Dons v Preston MK Dons have never tasted victory against Preston North End (D4 L1). Preston North End have only lost one of their last 10 league games on the road (W7 D2). After losing three consecutive games without scoring, the Dons have won their last two in a row. Joe Garner has found the net four times in his last three league appearances for Preston. MK Dons have converted six penalties this season, a League One high with Peterborough. Preston have let in just five goals in the 15 minutes either side of half-time this season, a League One low. Gillingham v Sheff Utd The Gills have lost just one of their last seven league games at Priestfield Stadium in league competition (W4 D2). The Blades have only lost one of their last nine league league meetings with Gillingham (D5 W3). Gillingham's last three league wins have been followed directly by a loss - they won their last league game versus Carlisle on February 8th. Sheffield United have recouped just three points from behind in League One this season, the lowest tally of any side, with none of those coming away from home. Cody McDonald has found the net in each of his last four appearances for Gillingham. The Blades have the worst away record in League One, collecting just six points so far this season in 14 games on the road (W1 D3 L10). boggen
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Crawley Town - Tranmere League 1 England Tuesday 18/2 20:45 Prediction: Crawley Town Odds: 1,80 Stake: 5/10 Bookmaker: bet365 Tranmere placed 19th travels to Crawley placed 18th, only 1 point seperates the teams. However Crawley has 6 games in hand since they only played 25 matches so far this season in the league. Most other teams around 30-32. Tranmere actually better away than at home. However their manager R.Moore suspended by the club after after a FA investigation has been launched against him regarding potential breach of betting rules. Tranmere is nothing special, Crawley has impressed us on a couple of occasions this season. This looks like a good chance for Crawley to get 3 points! boggen
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Leyton Orient - Stevenage League 1 England Tuesday 18/2 20:45 Prediction: Leyton Orient - 1,5 Odds: 2,85 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 No secret that we fancy Leyton Orient in this division, last game we backed them away to Preston. LO went 1-0 up but had to satisfy with a 1-1 draw after Preston was awarded an incorrect penalty. LO has played some tough teams lately and done quite OK. Currently they are placed 3rd in the table, just 3 points behind 2nd placed Wolves. Stevenage currently bottom of the table, 6 points up to safe ground. But have a few games in hand. They have only won 3 out of 15 on the road, and have lost 7 out of their last 11 matches, only winning 2. And they at home! Now they travel to one of the better sides in the division, a team that have scored 62 goals in the league this season, compared to Stevenages 28. We fully trust LO here, and we think they will win fairly comfortable.

Currently they are placed 3rd in the table, just 3 points behind 2nd placed Wolves. Is this a joke? Orient have played Rotherham, Peterborough and Preston (all promotion rivals) and gained 1 point. They lost last Tuesday at home to a resurgent Bristol City side that hadn't won away since October! The only positive for Orient is that Jakupovic is back in goal now they've renewed his loan from Hull. As I called way back in November they wouldn't go the distance and the small squad would begin to crumble. Not touching this game despite Stevenage's shocking away record. The Bristol game was a weak result, but LO played very well in the 2nd half. LO is a good side, and they should be to much for Stevenage. Could actually see them winning this by 3-4 goals. saimon76
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th for what it's Worth, odds for home win of Crawley and LO are rising since allday. martin239
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Is there something I'm missing in the Gillingham vs Sheffield United match tonight? Surely 9/4 is too big for a side that have won their last three home games?
The 25th of May
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Agreed on Gillingham, they are quite strong at home and have beaten the likes of MK Dons, Wolves and Swindon and held Brentford, Peterborough and Walsall to draws. Sheffield utd have the worst away record in the league winning 1 of 14 and scoring just 8 goals. Sheff utd obviously got some impressive cup results lately but they tend to struggle against the smaller teams and Sunday's game will have taken a lot out of them. Gillingham had the weekend off and have a striker bang in form in Cody McDonald who has scored in the last four in a row. Value is with the home team but draw a runner. +0.25 for me. Alex_B
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th This is really very strange....Gillingham´s odds are going sky high minute after minute...
fat
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Is there something bookies know but we don't? Gillingham have won their last 3 at home against much stronger teams than Sheffield Utd. The odd doesn't look right and it keeps going up. saimon76
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Yesterday i was intend to mean the odds of Coventry and Leyton orient were going up. Coventry lose at home; while LO won easily, it seems. However not always, as you know better than me, odds movement reflects in a particular result, even if very often i have to say that it is so. Yesterday for example odds were dropping for Barcelona and PSG and in fact the final result reflects the odds and money direction. But here Gillingham seems more relaxed than Coventry and also of Blades who needs point badly (even if with 4 games in hand). Gillingham has also a +0.25 on the asian world...Home team is on a up and down strecht of form W-L-W-L--- so given the fact that they won last match, bookies are going with this theoria maybe? I am joking, however you a have to give a little credit to Blades that has some good results this year but still languish foot of the table. Home fans seems not so confident of their actual form, i will search more info, will come back if i wil found something interesting.
andypaps28
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th Gillingham v Sheff Utd Source : BBC Ryan Inniss could make his Gillingham debut after joining on loan, while fellow defender Elliott Hewitt is available again following suspension. Winger Chris Whelpdale (ankle) is back in training but striker Danny Kedwell (hernia) is not ready to return. Sheffield United striker Chris Porter could start after coming off the bench to score twice against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup on Sunday. Fellow striker Billy Paynter (cup tied) is back in contention. VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM Gillingham manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Kent: "Nigel Clough has gone in there and improved the team. He will improve their position, no doubt about that. "The spirit in the camp has always been good and we will keep cracking on. "If we can cut out silly mistakes, where we give opportunities to other teams, we can go on and win games."
saimon76
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th odds now are up to 3,20 for HW... a really cracking price, but why?!? fat
Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 18th & 19th The rule works again this time. I was fortunate enough not to bet on Gillingham but a lesson learnt.
