Re: Southampton v Arsenal > Tuesday January 28th We're a few days off this one but I think Arsenal at evens (coral) is a good price for this and will fall. Southampton have just suspended Dani Osvaldo for a training ground incident with Jose Fonte. Lovren and Rodriguez have also sustained injuries this week. Lovren has been a key figure in defence, while Rodriguez has been frozen out for a while. Not ideal preparation to face an Arsenal side that is grinding out wins at the moment and could welcome back Ramsey.

Re: Southampton v Arsenal > Tuesday January 28th Arsenal @ evens is a mighty bet,Southampton are simply not in the same league as Arsenal, they have a poor record against top sides this season, and were simply dismantled by Chelsea a few weeks ago, i think Arsenal will win this game if ozil an carzola both start.

Re: Southampton v Arsenal > Tuesday January 28th Well, one thing is for sure. There is something different about Arsenal this year, they finally started to win back to back games while they are not that great at some points. This is a huge factor in football, back to back wins gives so much confidence to their squad and morale should be sky high. They know the goal will eventually come anyways. They perform really well in their 2th halves. Especially away, it takes time to open up a tight defense on enemy ground but they just keep possession waiting for that one single pass that launches a goal. Their defense is also very solid this year, if we forget the City result than their record is amazing. Last 8 games 2 goals conceded, 7 wins and one draw against Chelsea. 16-2 Goal difference. Wilshere might be out but they have plenty quality midfielders in their team. Ramsey is almost fully fit again and he will likely be on the bench or maybe not. Arteta is fit again along with cazorla Ozil maybe Rosicky they should be fine against Southampton. Southampton are doing well this season, better than anyone expected I think. Solid home record only lost against Villa, Tottenham and Chelsea, draw against City, Sunderland and West ham. I really rate Arsenal as a great away side so I think this won't be easy for Southampton. Their current form is fine but they didnt convince me that much. Wins over West brom at home, Yeovil at home, Burnley at home[while conceding 3] and a draw against Sunderland away. This will be a lot tougher for them especially as they like to hold possession themselves. No doubt Arsenal will dominate this game so Southampton have to come up with another tactical plan, curious how that will work out tonight. Lovren is a serious blow, important defender at the back this season also scored 2 goals. Ramirez midfielder also played on a regular basis but his miss is not that big of a problem though. Osvaldo is out too! Lambert is fit again so maybe he will start again tonight. I think it will be a tight affair and a low scoring first half but I have no doubts Arsenal will be the winners tonight. Great round for them if they win this one cause their are some top teams facing eachother and Wenger knows this very well. They have to take some kind of solid lead in the table cause they often struggle against the big guns. I have some bets for tonight : Arsenal to win with medium stakes. Odds around evens are great for me although the home side hold a pretty good record this season. Arsenal's defense is really solid and I have no doubts they will not concede more than one goal. 0-2 1-2 likely results for me! Arsenal to win the 2th half! They hold a great record for this bet. 6 out of their last 7 wins, they've won the 2th half. Great bet Medium stakes! Goodluck all!

Re: Southampton v Arsenal > Tuesday January 28th Well, 2th half bet came in as expected. Arsenal's record is huge great to bet on this season. Southampton played pretty good, better than expected or Arsenal was worse dunno. Ended 2-2, poor red card for flamini again.. Anyways, Arsenal failed again in a BIG game, they wont make it again this season... 1/2 even money, no problem!
