Brendan De Jonge Yet to win on the PGA Tour circuit but this course suits his game. He scored -16 & -18 on his two attempts at this tournament, big hitter will have plenty of putts for birdies. Finished T18 in this in 2012 and is a generally consistent player so looks a decent price. Jonathon Byrd Has had a major wrist injury, so 2013 was a terrible year. However, his first 2 tournaments this season so far have been full of promise, he made both cuts. Apparently he is feeling in better shape this season so if he gets back near his best 250/1 is ridiculous. He is a 5 time PGA Tour winner. Brendan De Jonge - 5 Points each-way @ 66/1 Paddy Power ***6 Places*** Jonathon Byrd - 2 Points each-way @ 250/1 Bet365

Re: Humana Challenge > January 16th - 19th The Bob Hope Lottery always provides plenty of shocks and plenty of entertainment. The elite players tend to use this as a 'toning exercise,' but then again it's difficult for any top player to dominate the ultimate resort scoring tournament on the PGA Tour even if they are 100% committed. Winners in the recent 4 renewals have been 80/1, 125/1, 200/1 and 100/1 - enough said. Any game shape can win this, but hitting plenty of greens and putting exceptionally well on the Bermuda Poa Trivialis greens is the pre-requisite to victory. So Brian Gay or Gary Woodland have equals chances effectively. A player I like the look of is John Senden who looks over-priced at 80-1 on a course where he has had much success in the past. He might not win it (he's only 1 PGA Tour victory to his name at JDC in 2006), but he can certainly contend as he did at Sea Island in November.

Re: Humana Challenge > January 16th - 19th Bit late copying this across. Tournament preview: 1pt ew B.Horschel to win Humana Challenge 28/1 Betfred When birdies are required you can do a lot worse than Billy Horschel and I think he’s worth a go this week. In the big tournaments on trickier courses he gets a bit too hyped up for my liking but in a birdie fest or shootout being pumped is no bad thing. Horschel makes plenty of birdies and finished in the top 10 here last year. He ran well in the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago so he’s in good nick and he can outscore the rest this week.
