Star striker Daniel Sturridge will again miss this fixture with his ankle injury, while Jose Enrique (knee) and Sebastian Coates (knee) both remain long-term absentees for Brendan Rodgers’ side. [h=3]Norwich City[/h] Chris Hughton not only comes into this fixture with a dismal away record but with a number of key players missing. Anthony Pilkington (hamstring), Robert Snodgrass (knee), Mark Bunn (ankle), Alexander Tettey (high ankle sprain), Ricky van Wolfswinkel (ankle) and Elliott Bennett (knee) will all miss this one, and will certainly be missed by the Canaries as they seek to win back-to-back matches for the first time this season.

Re: Liverpool V Norwich City > Wednesday 4th December English Premier League - Liverpool to beat Norwich @ 1.29 Betfair Liverpool have been in excellent form at home so far this season, and will no doubt be glad to return to Anfield after losing in their last match away at Hull. Norwich won at the weekend against Crystal Palace at home, but their away form this season has been poor and they have only picked up points in one match away from Carrow Road. They conceded seven against Manchester City a few weeks ago, and they have found scoring in away matches difficult. With Suarez in good goalscoring form and also taking into account his good record against Norwich, this should be a home win.

Re: Liverpool V Norwich City > Wednesday 4th December I have backed Norwich to score in the 2nd half here, and also to win the 2nd half DNB. For whatever reason, Liverpool's performances have dropped off badly in the 2nd half of games this season. They are top of the table based on HT results so far P 13 W 9 D 3 L 1 F 19 A 5. However their 2nd hald record makes grim reading P 13 W 2 D 5 L 6 F 6 A 16. This is their full 2nd half record, with home games highlighted: VHull 0-2 VEverton 1-2 *Fulham 1-0 Arsenal 0-1 *West Brom 2-1 Newcastle 1-1 (ten men) *C Palace 0-1 Sunderland 1-1 *Soton 0-1 Swansea 0-1 *Man U 0-0 Villa 0-0 *Stoke 0-0 They also lost a 2-0 lead at home to Notts Co early in the season, and they drew the 2nd half 1-1 against ten man Newcastle. Norwich are not great, but given Liverpool have shipped 6 in their last 2, and have one cleansheet in ten after starting the season with 3 shut-outs. There is also the chance that, with 3 games in a week, they could take key players off if they are comfortable. Small stakes as don't have huge confidence in Norwich, more a bet against Liverpool. 1.5pts Total 2nd Half Away Goals over 0.5gls @3.1 - Coral 0.5pts 2nd Half Result (Draw No Bet) - Norwich @7.5 - Coral

Re: Liverpool V Norwich City > Wednesday 4th December Luis Alberto Suarez Diaz 24-01-1987 Suarez has scored seven in three against norwich, they should be fully aware of how dangerous the uruaguayan can be. With the absence of sturridege it will be up ti him to get the goals. Coutinho's creative abilities along with henderson can help suarez score. There are few better fixtures for Rodgers to go into after a loss like that than the visit, under the Anfield floodlights, of a side who the Merseysiders routinely put to the sword. Another emphatic win would go a long way to quietening the detractors who will have come to the fore since Sunday, and Suarez will of course be the key ingredient should such a win materialise. But the men behind him need to start offering their input – Suarez can do it all on his own, but it’s not the healthiest state for a side to exist in. Norwich conceded seven recently against man city and I believe there is value on Suarez to score again. Suarez to score two or more (5-2) Skybet Suarez to score a hattrick (12-1) betfred A fun bet for the night, quietly optimistic.

Re: Liverpool V Norwich City > Wednesday 4th December · Liverpool have won 83.3% of their home matches · Norwich have lost 83%.3 of their away matches · Therefore Liverpool have an 83.3% chance of winning · Liverpool score an average of 2.17 goals per game and concede an avg of 0.5 (at home) · Norwich score an avg of 0.5 goals per game and concede an avg of 2.67 (away) · Therefore I estimate the score to be Liverpool 2.42-0.5 rounded = 2-1 · There is a 50% chance that Liverpool will keep a clean sheet because they have kept 50% clean sheets at home, wheareas Norwich have failed to score in 50% of their away matches. · Liverpool have scored in 83.3% of their home matches while Norwich have conceded in 83.3% of their matches Based on this evidence; I will advise the following bets: Liverpool to win williamhill @1.28 Likelihood = 9/10
