Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28- St Albans City at home to Hitchin Town (11/10 Marathon) I'm not sure if the game will survive the apocalyptic storm (copyright, every UK news channel) coming our way but if it does it's worth bagging St Albans at odds-against. They are in decent nick and should really have beaten leaders Hemel at home last time out in the league. Hitchin's pleasing football has grown increasingly powderpuff in recent weeks - in fact, they've managed just one win and one clean sheet since the end of August (eight league games). They actually did pretty well in the 1-1 at home to St Albans last month, but in recent weeks the momentum has swung towards St Albans. They should be nothing like this price.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28-

Oddly' date=' there's no pitch inspection planned this afternoon at St Albans, with the pitch in good nick and the surroundings surviving the high winds. There's some rain forecast today but hopefully nothing major.[/quote'] Does seem odd that St Albans is fine yet Boreham Wood isn't given how close they are.

Wood's ground has suffered some damage, or at least the area around it has - tree across the car park and some fences down. I'm confident that some games will survive as the wind will dry the pitches quickly, though there is more rain forecast for most areas.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28- I have had a play on Hendon to win at hapless Hampton & Richmond. Hendon seem to prefer playing away from home where they have won 4 out of 6 with a goal difference of +9, whereas Hampton have only won once at home, given those stats, the 13/8 on offer with marathon seems value.

That was their first defeat in 8 games, but dig deeper and they haven't actually beaten much bar a 5-1 win in the Cup over Arlesey

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28- Addpea, what are your thoughts on your game tonight? I quite fancy you to take something from the game. Intrigued to see how Solihull react to their first defeat of the season, albeit away to a team from a higher division. Quite fancy Sutton to get the job done at the second time of asking at home to Hemel, by all accounts they were unlucky not to get it done at Hemel. Reacting well to going an early goal behind and dominating the rest of the first half to take a 3-1 lead, before Hemel converted a rebound off a penalty right at the end of the half. Hemel were then awarded a debatable penalty on the other side of the break to make it 3-3. Best price 10/11 though, not exactly enticing. Other one I like is Cambridge City, who travel to Arlesey. Arlesey are unbeaten at home in the league, but haven't convinced of late with some poor results like a heavy defeat at Hampton, and draws with Burnham and Totton. You'd rank Cambridge ahead of them, and they've looked solid save for a reverse at a good Chesham side. They're 11/8 with Betvictor and I'd probably have them around the 11/10 - 23/20 mark

I think our game is a hard one to call. Its been a while since we won in the league, but hopefully the players will want to keep playing well to get themselves in the team for the Fleetwood match, but there has to be a chance of them not being focused as well after the win. Solihull have clearly been very hard to beat and me and Ships are both on them ante-post for the league. I would be a little surprised if we were good enough to beat them tonight and I would be happy with a draw from a fans point of view.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28- Great call on Cambridge C, SambaSampa. FA Trophy numbers are out at Betway, and they're taking a risk by offering 2.0 about Bognor Regis Town at home to a transitional Chippenham Town. Chippenham have been doing better in the cups but they won't have enjoyed tonight, and Bognor are on a cracking run at home. Their long unbeaten run came to an end at Wingate on Saturday but that 3-0 reverse involved two own goals. I also like Northwich Vics, who beat Mossley 2-0 in some comfort at the weekend and face them again on Saturday. They are available at 2.1.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28- Taken the two early shouts for the FA Trophy thanks Ships, how tolerant have betway been so far? Only signed up with them to play the non-league tips, might have to start playing some of my own to equal out the success rate :lol Anyone give me a bit of an opinion on Brackley of Conf North? We've got them in the FA Cup first round after they beat Barrow last night, see they are doing well in the league and have a couple of players of interest. Couldn't believe Billy Turley was playing for them! He seemed to have been around for ages when he was playing for Rushden 10 years ago, and Gary Mulligan played nearly 100 games for us.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill Prem, N & S, Northern, Southern, Ryman, FA Cup Oct 28- TV preview: 5pts Salisbury vs Hereford - Under 2.5 goals 10/11 Coral Although Salisbury are going well in the league they are the lowest scorers in the top half of the table by some way having notched just 20 times in 16 matches. Hereford have their problems in front of goal too so there’s nothing to suggest we’re going to see a high scoring classic in this one. Both sides are well set up defensively so this looks like a classic under 2.5 game to me. Apologies - catching up with this rather late. Betway's limits have come in for me as I have landed some chunky numbers this season, but it's still worth playing. I got decent amounts away on Northwich and Bognor (both of which landed, by the way).
