NH Novice Notebook (Finished)

Been meaning to kick this thread off for a couple of weeks now the jump season has started in earnest. Anyway i intend to post anything thats interesting in the Novice/Maiden/Juvenile races as we go through the season. Notes will mainly be post-race and highlighting any horse that may be of interest next time out. *Horses will only be of interest NEXT TIME OUT, for horses to stay on the list after a run they need to be recommended further. I do my own ratings on the novices and while it's tricky due to many races having debutants in them it does provide, for me anyway, a useful gauge on the quality of the race and what we can expect from the winner and placed horses in future contests. It can also point to a race where public form is below average and a first time out ex-bumper horse may be worth following. I use Raceform and the Racing Post as my form book and way of calculating the ratings and do not just back the top rated horses blindly. As the requirement of threads in this section is to produce a profit and loss account i will use any novices i select in the BBOTD competition as my selections from October 1st to April 26th which is the last day of the jump season. (will work out October at the end of the month) (All bets 1pt win or 0.50pts EW) :ok
