Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern & Southern Prem, FA Trophy Oct 21-23 Bet365 have some Northern Prem 1 games for Monday priced up and there's some value in 11/10 Sheffield at Romulus. Sheffield are hooking up some fine performances, particularly on their travels - they've won five on the bounce on the road, including a stunning 3-0 win at Ashton in the Trophy. They'll have to do without the injured Jamie Hadland - victim of an x-rated challenge yesterday - but they are scoring plenty. Only a couple of points separates the two sides but they are heading in different directions, with Romulus - who started the season superbly - without a league win in five, a Trophy exit to Kettering, and an embarrassing county cup defeat to Wolves Casuals. Some Trophy numbers are out at Betway.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern & Southern Prem, FA Trophy Oct 21-23 Hitchin Town v Wingate & Finchley, FA Trophy 1st Qualifying Round Replay (Oct 22) Betway are going odds against the home team and that's a generous offer. W&F staged a very late comeback on Saturday, scoring a 91st minute penalty to force the replay. It was the proverbial game of two halves, and the tie should have been over by HT. As it was the visitors were 2 up at the break, and enjoying most of the possession. A cross by left back Williams brought Wingate back into the game, before they forced tomorrow night's game with the injury time equaliser. W&F do play some nice football at times, but there's not too much of a cutting edge up front. These two sides met at the same stage last year, amazingly drawing 2-2 at the Harry Abrahams Stadium, before Hitchin ran out 3-0 winners. Also rather weirdly the prices for the replay last year are almost exactly the same 12 months later. And I'm hoping for another home win as well. Hitchin Town @ 2.1 Betway EDIT: Just realised this match is tonight, not tomorrow

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern & Southern Prem, FA Trophy Oct 21-23 North Ferriby United v Guiseley Gueseley lost 3 matches in a row at home which makes them the worst playing home side. But it seems they are doing better in their visits.Maybe because the pressure of not winning is off and they play calm.North Ferriby is one of the best home sides winning all 5 games on their own ground.Last game they lost away to Telford. Now they will surely try to bounce back against maybe the worst side in the division.I know nothing about the teams, but i think the odds of 1.6 in bet365 might represent some value given the form and class difference between the teams.

Doubt Guiseley are the worse team in the division to be honest although the new manager is still searching for a win. North Ferriby played with 10 men for quite a bit on Saturday and weren't great, although this should be an easier game. They are the most likely winners, but not sure there is much value in the price.

I'm not betting on this one but I think there might be most value in Guiseley - 4s with Marathon. To play devil's advocate on Ferriby, they've perhaps the biggest game in their history at home to Alfreton on Saturday and while boss Billy Heath will be keeping his troops keen he'll also have to nurse a few of the squad through the knocks they got on Saturday - keeper Adam Nicklin and wideman Jamie Yates both face fitness tests, and it must be a wee bit tempting to keep some of his powder dry while the Alfreton scouts are watching. As far as Guiseley go, I've always been a bit of a naysayer but I'm surprised they've fallen so far this season, despite the fact that they were also going to face a period of transition. Mark Bowyer's hands are tied but he has added to the squad and Adam Lockwood will be a key part of the defensive unit going forward. They have played very well in patches, but failed to capitalise on decent starts at Alty and Boston, and again on Saturday at home to Histon. If Ferriby are on their game (5-0-0 at home), they have more than enough to win this - Anthony Wilson can do it on his own if he fancies it tonight - but there is chance the Alfreton game will be playing on Ferriby minds, bringing Guiseley into play and making it a swerve for me.

Re: England > Midweek > Skrill N & S, Northern & Southern Prem, FA Trophy Oct 21-23 I fancy worksop at stocksbridge tonight 17/20 with bet365. Tom Denton is unplayable at this level at times and the one time I have seen Stockbridge they couldn't handle Nantwich at home (Nantwich won 5-1) especially when Nantwich brought there big forward Ben Deegan on. Denton is bigger and scores more goals than Deegan and will be dissapointed if he doesn't bag tonight.
