Re: La Liga - Sat 17th August Real Madrid v Real Betis Ronaldo 2 or more @ 11/8 VC Madrid -2 @ 11/10 Paddypower So, La liga returns with no sign of the top 2 coming under threat from anyone. Madrid will now have a new momentum after the Mourinho era has come to an end and proven winner Carlo Ancelotti at the helm. Madrid will always play through Ronaldo regardless of what manager they have and from what I've seen pre season he's shown no sign of a baron scoring run anytime soon. The betis defence will really struggle here against a really strong Madrid team who will want to get off to the best possible start and get an edge over Barca. Could be a depressing day for the visitors as they could be on the end of a thrashing.

Re: La Liga - Sat 17th August Sevilla v Atletico - Staking 1/10 on Over 2.5 goals at 2.27 (pinnaclesports) - Both sides have had high profile attacking departures over the summer and there is no doubt both sides probability of goals has diminished as a result, I was all set to back under 2,5 goals myself. However I think this has been overcooked in the odds with the prices for unders simply too short. I argue therefore that the value is in over 2.5 goals at 2.27. Its unlikely, but more likely than the odds imply IMO.
