Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Quite like the odds on Levante here. It is obviously isn't based on their home form, but rather on Celta away from, which reads 1 win, 1 draw. and 14 losses. With their only away win coming against bottom placed Zaragoza, back in November 2012. Another good bet is Over 2.5 Goals in A.Bilbao - Barcelona game, which is simply based on the fact that 94% of Barcelona away games produced 3 or more goals. Odds on Real Madrid look quite tempting as well, considering that they won last 9 games against A.Maddrid, but in my opinion goals would be a better option, since Real Madrid is poor defensively at the moment, while A.Madrid failed to score only once at home this season.

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April i would be cautious backing real madrid and barcelona this weekend. after the week both teams had the only think on their mind will be champions league second match. i expect both teams will rest a lot of players

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Does Mourinho really care about second place considering he is very likely not to be there next season? He obviously will field a pretty strong team but might well rest a few players with next week in mind..think CL is the priority, although they are almost certainly out. Not sure but might be something to consider.

Of course he cares about second place, finishing behind Atletico would be an utter embarrassment from where he stands. I can see why people would think that but at the end of the day he's a proud coach and a champions league semi , second in la liga and a copa del Rey win isn't overly bad. Mind you I actually don't think that Atletico will finish above them even if they beat real this week. I will be betting on overs because $1.70 is just to good a price to ignore so I don't really care who wins

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Cristisno Ronaldo will miss the game according to reports. I personally think the odds on "over" might look good, but they are actually realistic. Besides resting key players, which is for sure, knowing Mourinho mentality, don't forget that while Real Madrid is "overish", Atletico is one of the most under-ish sides in the league. Also, I think that under these circumstances Real will be happy with a draw here.

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Whats about R.Sociedad - Valencia ? Valencia +1 at 1.66 on Bet365, I know that Valencia has been a poor away team this season, but after the win by 5-1 against Malaga last weekend, and the 4th place to pick up, I can see a lot of motivation for Valencia here.. Also i saw the last game of R.Sociedad at Osasuna and they played very poor, Osasuna diserved to win.. So i think Valencia +1 at 1.66 is a good bet here.. not because of the stats but because of the motivation and football quality of this two teams at this moment.

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April valencia and sociedad are both fighting for champions league place position and this match should be very interesting. valencia scored couple of goals in six minutes against malaga last week which was truly trashing. they showed a lot of motivation and determination to win that game. their eyes are firmly set on champions league place. on contrary real sociedad played osasuna and i expected them to win but they couldn't break them down. they look flustered in the entire match and even osasuna could have taken all three points in the end. it was was very attacking display from home side but they weren't very organised and left a lot of space for counter attacks. i think a little bit naivety and inexperience has crept into their game and they may be stalling in the final stages of their season. i think valencia is much more experienced in these types of games as they have champions league credentials and feel will edge this match.

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Guys, don't read too much into the Osasuna - Sociedad game. Osasuna away is one of the most complicated game for any Spanish team. They play very different football than any other team in the league - very defensive, very physical and aggressive. They are the most under-ish side in the league and one with the fewest goals conceded (which is quite of an accomplishment, given their place in the table). Just check the games of Real and Barca in Pamplona. Real drew 0:0 without having a decent chance on goal, while Barcelona managed to grab the "2:1" victory only with two late Messi goals, after Osasuna were leading for most of the time. I believe this game is too unpredictable in terms of 1X2. My call here is BTTS and over 2.5. I know the price is not high, but I think that the actual probability is even better than the odds suggest.

i am also interested in this... but just a little scared about the last one home against Depo... where they fix the match (El Coruña se paseó allí porque Lendoiro compró el partido, de su bolsillo. Sí, sí, creéroslo que es así. 8 jugadores fueron los que compraron, y entre los jugadores del Levante hubo disputas por ese motivo. No veis que el Deportivo cada vez que llegaba marcaba? Os recuerdo que Cabral jugó allí y mantiene contacto con jugadores lógicamente) source is http://es.granotas.net/foro-levante-ud/levante-celta-sabado-las_69618/40/ However they should want to win this after very bad period

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April

Does Mourinho really care about second place considering he is very likely not to be there next season? He obviously will field a pretty strong team but might well rest a few players with next week in mind..think CL is the priority' date=' although they are almost certainly out. Not sure but might be something to consider.[/quote'] Initially I was going to bet goals as the Madrid derby is usually open attacking game with more pride and flair than tactics. However reading recent news articles it seems Ronaldo is going to be rested and the Atletico players really are desperate to win this game after a 14 year drought it seems. Alot of emotion on their part. This got me thinking of backing Atletico dnb. Looked last night on 365 and Atletico + 0 AH was 1.95 (pretty decent considering Mourinho is contemplating how to overcome a 3 goal deficit while the league is already gone). So I agree HastGill that the motivation factor is heavily leaning towards the home team who are so hungry to win this game which Real just stroll usually. Personally I think Mourinho believes there is a chance to shock Dortmund and is going to conserve his heavy artillery - for the Blitzfrieg next week - and we may be surprised by the presence of some lesser knowns in the Madrid 11 come kick off. Didn't take that bet last night :sad and decided to wait. This morning checked and it had crashed to 1.82 still on Bet 365. Checked for the reason for this on the news but news was same as last night with no further details emerging. So I decided to keep track with oddschecker.com and prices across all bookies except Bet Victor crashed to 1.57 - 1.60. I decided to follow the money and was lucky enough to find it still @ 1.86 at BV and snapped it up. It has now come in to 1.67 and followed suit. Does anyone know any significant info why it has taken such a drastic plunge? Feeling good I only lost 9 points instead of 35 anyway. :hope

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April According to Marca.com Ronaldo wont be playing, probably the reason for the huge drop in odds. I also took Atletico (0) at 2.02 (Betfair) on Wednesday night, I think the home team can definitely get a positive result with various factors going in their favour.

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Both teams will be motivated because they are struggling for second place, but... Real has a return match against Borussia on Tuesday, while Atletico celebrates 110 years of existence today. This is why the home team going to be more motivated. Also, Diego Simeone has no a new absences (midfielders Turan and Tiago are injured for a while), on the other hand Jose Mourinho will be without star player Ronaldo, defenders Arbeloa, Marcelo, Ramos and Coentrao, and some starters who will be on the bench (X. Alonso). probable line-ups

  • Courtois, Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Filipe Luis, Koke, Suarez, Gabi, C. Rodriguez, Falcao, D. Costa
  • D. Lopez, Nacho, Carvalho, Pepe, Albiol, Modrić, Khedira, Özil, Kaka, Callejon, Benzema

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April However i do not want to say that Levante are not professional footballer, these assertions must be feed with real facts, even if 0-3 after 25 minutes said it all about theyr strange behaviour in that match. So i do not belive in another upset here, also fans will be angry of another under level performance at home. Celta is practically relòegated and should win a lot of matches to stay up. So i will go for low stake withe Levante here at odds 2,20 stake 2...it is the last chance for them to be in my green list...

Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Athl.Bilbao vs Barcelona I am the only one seeing value in Barcelona @1.89 here? Not often you get 1,8 with Barcelona against a team they have not lost against in the last 19(!) meetings. Bilbao is pretty much safe in the middle of the table but Barca can seal the win in Primera if they win and Real loose against Athl.Madrid later tonight. Barcelona DNB @1,38 Over 1,5 @1,3 NB! I will wait and see the starting 11 before making any bets. It maybe the cancer-treatment has made some damage to Vilanova`s brain and he still belive they got a chance at the CL, and he will save some players.
