Jump Racing Thursday 28th Feb

Recommended Posts

3.30 Ludlow: Forbra Gold Challenge Cup Handicap Chase (Class 3) (3m) An open race with a few possibles, Henry Daly runs a couple and Grove Pride may be the pick of his pair on this better ground and looks fairly treated. I like Buck Mulligan who is back after a mid winter break and trainer Evan Williams does well at Ludlow. The likes of Politeo, Cootehill and The Chazer are better over 2m4f and although this is a sharp track they may be found wanting at the business end of the contest. Selections: 2pts Buck Mulligan 11/2

Bet365 1pt Grove Pride 9/1 Ladbrokes

Re: Jump Racing Thursday 28th Feb 3:55 Thurles BRIGHT NEW DAWN ran behind champagne fever last time out in the Grade 1 Deloitte novice hurdle. It was a really good effort and it goes to show that progression is still very much on the cards. Showing two good placed efforts in grade 1s the last twice bright new dawn should take some beating today dropping down in grade before taking up grade 1 entries again at the Cheltenham Festival. Yard is in good form having a double yesterday. Best price this morning 11/8 boylesport, paddy power.
