Will happily introduce you to some of the other PL'ers in Newc, a great bunch, good banter & good natured ribbing in equal measure ;) Feel free to get involved in as many or few forum activities as you like, got a superb value league running on Stan James on Mondays with others hopefully following soon, poker & racing meet ups etc. The "Where are you playing threads" are extremely useful for remembering & railing tournaments as is Avongirl's Poker Diary. I doubt they'll have that problem with 'Brighton in June' though. You'd take the negative value after acomm and travel for that. Newcastle, it's just too far out for most of the country to want to travel AND have to buy two nights accom in advance too (in case you're still in it all night Sunday as well). Honestly, making a £110 event multi-day with today's travel and room prices, it's gonna hit the numbers! I understand the point of it and all, I'm just saying, like. Step 1 = 11p (1R1A) sat at 18.30 daily with 1 seat gtd to step 2. Step 2 = £1.10 (1R1A) sat at 20.00 daily with 1 seat gtd to weekly final. Oh, unless you want to bunk up with a bunch of strangers in dormitory style accommodation, and even then they want £39 a night :loon After a little more searching I finally managed to get a room for 1 night from a website called Airbnb (really worth checking out if you need a cheap room) In a quiet area near the hospital, flexible check in time, and only £54 a night....sorted :ok So how many PL'ers are going?
