Punter's Lounge Confessional - Aspects I Must Improve - Making it pay in 2013!!

We all probably do a number of things well... As far as waiting for my price, not betting when I don't fancy anything, discilpined staking, working hard and keeping records - I am pretty much satisfied with my performance.... Hopefully this thread will allow individual's to identify their own weaknesses and cut them out before the turn of the year!! Without a fixed plan, betting bank and winning strategy any Punter is unlikely to succeed...:( Myself, I am not great at combating the phychological aspect of losing runs.... The game plays on my mind far too much when I'm hitting the bar - It's almost a 'fear' of getting to a point where my judgement is affected. The more I have analysed results over the last month or 2 the more EW betting becomes attractive - am hitting around 60% placed efforts with my losing bets.... It doesn't make financial sense but I suspect the rewards of 'lack of stress' may well prove worth while! Anyway - that's been done - anyone else with some bad habits to stamp out or aspects they could do better for the New Year?!?

That's probably what is costing me the most at the moment- I see a, say, third fav that I'd lay at a reasonable price and then get cold feet if the market moves even slightly. The lack of a healthy sized laying bank is something of an issue- until I can get a job and become more securely housed its got to go on the back burner.
