Re: Santos Selections (Last Six: 2,1,3,3,3,4 -10.37pts) Wednesday 31st October Lingfield 2.05 - Atlantis Crossing (1pts win, 7/1 Bet365, BOG) Won well last week at Wolves when winning with a bit in hand it seemed and looks as if this race will have pace to allow him to sit off and come through late up 4lbs but still on a capable mark. Haydock 3.20 - Ballybough Gorta (3pts win,6/1 Stan James) Very consistent and not been out the first two in his last six runs (4 of those wins). He won't want the ground too soft though as all those runs have come on better ground. Hopefully the ground will be fine though and this progressive horse should be bang there. Lingfield 3.45 - Ukranian (2pts win, 8/1 Bet365, BOG) Does have an open look to the race but Ukranian might be a tad overpriced imo. You have to forgive a poor run lto at Windsor but was denied only by a head on his last AW run and is only 1lb higher here. Should be in the mix.

Im doing much better over the jumps right now the flat end of season form is all a bit up in the air.

Atlantis Crossing ran a strange race was out the back not doing much and was trading in running at 150 then in a split second plummeted to 1.3 in running! before being beaten into 3rd by a neck in a bunch finish. Ukranian was below par but Ballybough made the day and sends us back into profit :). Re: Santos Selections (Last Six: 3,3,4,3,1,6 +4.63pts) Thursday 1st November Hereford 2.30 - Counting House (2 pts win, 6/1 William Hill) I feel he is a little overpriced here while some of the other runners are probably open to improvement Counting House sets a good standard. Was narrowly beaten on his last hurdles start and was sent out on the flat a few days ago so that might just have sharpened him up for todays run. Lingfield 2.50 - Sentaril (3pts win, 11/4 Stan James) A good listed race here at Lingers but I feel Sentaril could just be a different class to these. Solid form this year and looks to me as though a mile shouldn't be a problem it is her AW debut but on a class angle she sticks out to me here also Graham Lee on board is another plus and all bodes well for a big run. Stratford 3.40 - Thanks For Coming (1pts win, 5/1 Stan James) Made a decent impression on his first chase run finishing 1/2 length second at Towcester. Could well improve on that here in this competitive looking race.

Competitive race though but has a solid look to him. Wetherby 2.00 - Tiger O'Toole (3pts win, 5/1 Stan James, BOG) This looks a good race and for me Tiger O'Toole is capable of landing such a prize. Has run second last twice behind Fingal Bay last time which looks decent form. Sometimes maybe does flatter a bit but If on his A game should be there with a big chance. Newmarket 2.10 - Rio's Rosanna (2pts win, 5/1 Bet365, BOG) A likeable horse who always seems to give her running. Has a good record on soft ground which I think she goes better on and Amy Ryan has won on her before.

Ascot 2.35 - Raya Star - (1pts win, 10/1 Bet365 BOG) Had a great season last year and has won over todays c&d in a hot race. Was last seen back in April winning at Ayr comfortably. Alan King's horses also running well at the moment. Wetherby 2.50 - Cape Tribulation - (2pts win, 7/2 Bet365 BOG) Had some very smart form over hurdles in Spring when he landed Cheltenham and Aintree handicaps and made a pleasing return on a spin on the flat 3 weeks ago at York. Should have a big chance. Ascot 3.10 - Poquelin - (1pts win, 18/1 Bet365 BOG) This is a bit of a speculative one but I can't not stick a few quid on a horse who can be as classy as Poquelin at this price. It's all about whether he will see out the trip and he may well not be able to get home but this a huge price for a horse who has some real back class. Wetherby 3.25 - Midnight Chase - (1pts win, 13/2 Bet365 BOG) A really likeable front runner who is very game it's the penalty he has to carry here though which makes this tough. But a classy horse and if he's in one of those moods where he bowls along he could be hard to peg back.

I thought Poquelin ran a cracker at a big price finishing 4th (shame as I had actually backed him each way!) but outran his odds. Decent return on the day. On a pure handicapping front as well I think he could be well in compared to some of these. Plumpton 3.30 - Truckers Benefit (1pts win, 9/4 Bet365) Has been improving steadily over his last few runs which included a win over todays c&d in which he only won 3/4 length but had gone clear and the margin in reality was a lot more, expect him to come through late hopefully for a decisive challenge. Kemp 3.45 - Loch Ba (2pts win, 9/4 Betfred) Has gone well here at Kempton before and his sole win comes at the track. Has also shown before he can win off a layoff.

No reason why he shouldn't go well again. Exeter 2.50 - Cue Card (3pts win,10/11 Bet365 BOG) An interesting small field but I feel Cue Card could be the one with the most to offer here. Not a rock solid option but he has the class on his day and if he races to maximum potential should be the one to beat here. Exeter 3.50 - Wide Receiver (1pts win, 5/1 Bet365 BOG) Rapidly improved last season with a series of good efforts. Was pulled up on his seasonal return but Im over looking that and hope he can continue his progressive form of last season today.

Lingfield 3.10 - Arctic Lynx (2pts win, 11/2 BetVictor) Winner lto for new yard and has been hit with a 3lbs rise which looks fair enough. Expect him to come through late. If the visor can have the same effect given his current form should go well. Musselburgh 2.50 - Simply Ned (3pts win, 6/4 Bet365) Returned from layoff with a sound 4th at todays track lto which should have sharpened him up for today you feel. Had a good campaign last year and looks the one to beat here. Musselburgh 3.20 - Red Tanber (2pts win, 9/1 Stan James) This horse absolutely loves Musselburgh picking up 4 of his 5 wins at todays venue. He does has to defy a career high mark but if he returns the horse he was last season that may not be beyond him here.

Second to Izzi Top in a Group 2 is strong form in this listed race. Raced 13 days ago in Italy after being off since May so could just have needed that if so is the one they have to beat here. Doncaster 2.35 - Retrieve (1pts win,16/1 Bet365) Wide open with the number of runners but Retrieve has run well last twice winning at Newmarket before running second lto. Given his current form could go well at a nice price. Wincanton 2.50 - Local Hero (1pts win,9/1 Stan James) Has notched up back to back wins in decent handicaps the last twice and although this looks harder comes here at the top of his game. The other main rivals have all been off the track a while so Im hoping Local Hero might have the race fit nod here. Doncaster 3.10 - Jack Dexter (1pts win,9/2 Bet365) Really progressive this season landing a hat trick of wins lto. Could still be more to come if he can handle the faster ground here compared to those wins if doing so has to have a big chance. Wincanton 3.25 - Zarrafakt (2pts win, 5/1 Bet365) Was a winner here two runs back in January and his overall form was good last season. Has gone well fresh before with two wins coming off long lay offs.

Chances here today if wound up. Carlisle 2.25 - Cappa Bleu (3pts win, 15/8 BetVictor) Last seen when running a gallant fourth in the Grand National and had been running very well all last season. Should have a very good chance here today and I think he's the one they will have to beat. Southwell 3.20 - Akbabend (1pts win, 9/4 Betfred) Was denied on a hat trick bid last time out but this race looks easier for him. Will look to make all from the front and this field could find him hard to peg back.

Lingfield 3.00 - Lord Singer (3pts win, 9/2 Paddy Power) Not been seen since falling at Auteil in April but ran a good third in this last year and if he can match that kind of run he should be able to have a say in this, I expect him to be bang there today.
