bowles10
Re: tote gold trophy - feature race saturday Non so keeps jumping out at me. His return to hurdles after some indifferent jumping is well timed as he has ran well in this race finishing 2nd 2 yr ago. 16/1 appears a decent each way price for a Henderson horse in this type of race. Geos won this last year off 10st 9lbs & i dont see the same horse coming home again with 11st 11lb on his back. Improving irish horses Essex & Power Elite are in the race with essex heading the betting with the usual irish support. I'd give another chance to Monte Cinto - Nicholls/walsh are big race players & forget it's last run when Nicholls warned beforehand that he was short of work. He was impressive at sandown previously & remains on a fair mark. Power Elite lacks a recent run so 289 days for me to too long an absxence to get over. Nawamees won a decent race at wetherby in October & may go well at a big price along with Zabenz who is a bit unknown in this country but won grade races abroad. i'll be tossing up between Non So, Monte Cinto, Nawamees & Zabenz for some each way action. bowles10
Re: tote gold trophy - feature race saturday The trends show that no 10yr old has won the race. 72% of winners carry less than 11stone. Henderson has won 4 out of last 7 last 10 years only 1 irish win which was Spirit leader off 10st last 10 years 5-7 yr olds dominate aprt from last year when 9yr old geos won it. I am happy with what i have picked: Non So 2pts win @ 16/1 Monte Cinto 1pt ew @ 14/1 Zabenz 0.5pt ew at 40/1 Nawamees 0.5pt ew @ 50/1 good luck
