6.30 BELLEWSTOWN MISTER BENEDECTINE 4tps win @ 5/1 bog (Ladbrokes and Boylesports) Won his last three starts all in impressive style (back after a 1-year break and with the new training of Brendan Duke). 15lb higher than for his last success here but this old performer has been refreshened after a break and had been aimed at the Galway Hurdle but didn't get a run there and was later withdrawn due to the testing conditions for another intended run still at the Galway Festival. So the 9yo gelding should be at the top of his form for this race which seems not a strong handicap at all and so he should take all the beating here even off his new mark of 129.

Stan James) SJ go 10/1 about this and is worth taking as it must start shorter than that? Has winning form in the ground and some of these wont like the soft ground and will struggle to get home. The mare has had a couple of starts this season and while not setting the world alight she has ran respectably and now races off 7lbs less than she ended last season. The race is pretty weak and course specialist Flying Doctor would have a chance if the ground dried up any. I'm not keen on Is It Me and the fav has only tried this type of trip once and has enough weight for a horse yet to win over timber.
