wisey10
Am I missing it somewhere or is there not try a thread up for pre season friendliest? There is a match today that I think could be profitable. Is the right place?

wisey10
Re: Club Friendliest? Ok cheers, I will put it here then. FC Sion (draw no bet) v stoke @ 2.00 Bet365 Its Stokes first pre season game today away in Switzerland and I like the look of Sion. Stoke are notoriously poor in pre season friendlies and with Pulis solely concerned on fitness at this stage. The players have been running up mountains all week so you can be sure they are feeling a bit stiff. The Swiss league is under way and Sion are one of the best sides in the league. There players will be fully fit and though this is a neutral venue they are home in the sense of it being in their country. My main concern is that they have a league game on Sunday so I'm slightly concerned about how up for it they maybe but ultimately I think they will want to get the better of a premier league side. It could also be a good opportunity for them to give new signings such as Gattusso and Kyle Lafferty some action. It might be best to wait for Sion's team news but considering how rusty Stoke are likely to be and the fact that all players should be getting a run out at some point, I think there is more than a good enough case for taking Sion on the draw no bet at evens. jackierubberleg
Re: Club Friendliest? Arsenal-Man City. Arsenal 13/5 b 365 I'm not sure to many people are likely to see this, however, Man City have been very poor in their warm up games in Austria against highly inferior opposition (on paper) as Mancini continues to bemoan the absence of his big shots due to the Euros; "The players that played in that major championship have just returned to training two days ago and there is nothing we can do about that". What exactly was Tevez's reason for caddying for Romero at the open on Sunday and not being in training?. Expect more trouble from him this season. Arsene Wenger has stated his desire for a battle here. He played a fairly young team against the Maylasian select, but has stated "The players who play in the premier league will play on Friday night". Arsenal seem more prepared for the game. Torrential rain forecast for the game, hope not that might aid City. IMO the bookies are laying this game from the text book. Arsenal for me. For the more faint hearted, try Arsenal draw no bet 13/8 PP. GL
