4.00 Beverley EENY MAC 3pts win @ 4/1 bog (Paddy Power and Bet365) Maiden after 20 career starts finally won a race last time out (24 days ago here at Beverley in a class 5 handicap over 1m100y off 50) and did it in good style imho as he had been up with the pace since the start (tracking the leader and favourite of the race) and they got off quite hard so he did very well to win by 2L ahead of the favourite with the other 12 runners struggling to get closer to the leading pair. That was a worse race than this for sure but Eeny Mac for some reason looked a better horse after a long winter break (that was his seasonal debut and his last race had been in September) and surely the 4lb hike in the rating doesn't seem too harsh. The drop back in trip won't be a problem either as he had collected his best ever results over 7f in the past (1 second and 2 thirds) and he really likes it here at Beverley (4 top 4 performances in 6 starts over this track). No problem at all also with the easy ground as he has run well on soft a couple of times (latest at Newcastle in September when 3rd of 13, beaten 2L by the winner in a 7f handicap off 50). The trainer Neville Bycroft has saddled 3 winners in the last 4 weeks (all his winners in this flat turf season thus far) and Beverley is the trainer's favourite track (10 winners from 80 runners (13%) in the last 5 seasons, 9-57 (16%) if we consider just 4yo+ runners). The jockey Michael O'Connell is enjoying his best ever season so far with 25 wins from 167 runs (15%), 16-104 on turf, and the yhoung jockey has got a very good feeling with the track where he is 5-18 with 4yo+ runners in the last 2 seasons (18%).

Re: Flat Racing - Tuesday 26th of June some decent value about today ......might try for a nice double 5.15 bri toga tiger looks a strong fav today but is very vulnerable under top weight and better value lies with AVON SUPREME who has been running some decent times and is still feasibly fairly well hcapped today ......if there is a chink in the favs armour then could be the one to exploit it avon supreme 5pts win 15/2 skybet 5.45 bri long lost love ran a cracker at muss recording a nice speed rating of 79 and now gets in 11lbs lighter off a low weight so has to run well with conditions to suit .....9/2 quote looks very decent and will make a nice addition to the double attempt long lost love 5pts win 9/2 5pts win double both (approx 40/1 )
