2.20 WOLV miserere mei 83 ghazeer 80 jeremy sue 78 not a race to set alight the a.w but there looks a bit of value in the 13/2 about misere mei ......i was hoping for a better price but probably missed it last night .jeremy sue looks good value at 20/1 but hasnt the scope of misere mei or the speed to match that one so the value seems to lie with the top rated today miserere mei 2pts e.w 13/2 paddy power

Re: FLAT RACING TUESDAY 24TH APRIL « 5:05 » Wolverhampton (AW) TUE 24 APR 2012 32RED CASINO HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo 0-60) Winner £1,704 Standard 1m1f103y Number of runners: 10 MOMENT IN THE SUN 2pts to win @ 15/2 bog (William Hill and Boylesports) Moment In The Sun is a 3yo by Dubai Destination who has had a decent campaign on the AW finishing second in her second start at Kempton (first after a break) on the 29th of December over 1m in a Maiden then 4th, 5th, 6th in her first three handicaps always over 7f-8f. Two months ago her handicap mark dropped to 53 and with Jim Crowley on board the David Flood-trained filly finished 2nd over 1m2f at Lingfield and next time out finally achieved her first win in a selling stakes over 1m2f again at Lingfield. In March she raced over 1m3f at Kempton and finished 4th after she took the lead and tried to make all (faded just in the last furlong so the trip was probably too far for her) and two weeks ago tried over the same distance going back on turf at Yarmouth but finished last of all tailed off. Eight days ago the debut over this C&D was very unlucky as Moment In The Sun was the eyecatching horse turning home but didn't find the gap in the final straight and finished just 6th. That was the first time she wore the blinkers and they are kept on today with the same 7lb claimer, Darren Edward Egan who is probably the best apprentice jockey around at the moment, on board. With a bit of luck in running she stands a big chance dropped also 1lb since her last run. The big danger is of course Lost Highway who showed very little in her first three starts at 2 (best effort when 6th at Leicester over 1m in October) but represents a top yard (Mark Johnston) that have been in smashing form in this kind of races this term (14-38 with their 3yo runners here at Wolverhampton). Among the others Skyeron, who finished second over C&D last time out in the same race where my selection was sixth, looks the main danger but overall it's a low quality race and if the Mark Johnston-trained filly is nothing special (could be anything of course) Moment In The Sun stands a big chance with blinkers on and good 7lb claimer who reduces her mark to a very interesting 50 (she recorded RPR of 58 and 59 in her win and when 4th at Kempton so her last two starts on AW before that last unlucky effort).
