1st Goal + 0 - 0 Correct Score Back / Lay Help Please

Recommended Posts

hi everyone i am a newbie / new member so please help me ! i am looking for help with a bet / strategy i wish to place and need help with the maths ! thanks in advance for any help ........................ i am a bit of a novice when it comes to betting and really need some help please to work thru the numbers of a bet / strategy that i would like to use ( if it is possible ) i have an idea so please advise me if you think it might work or not ? ok here we go : i have been following certain football games for a while now ( 1 year ) and i think that maybe i have found some so called 'trends' regarding certain games that may offer an opportunity to do a back / lay which i am sure you understand 100 % more than me ! my idea ( maybe it is already well known ! ) is : THE BETS ARE ON FOOTBALL GAMES THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY SELECTED 1. i bet before the game starts that the correct score at the end of the match will be 0 - 0 : the odds for this for the games i select must be a minimum of 13.00 ( this is what i have always found for the types of games i have selected ) 2. i bet before the start of the game that there will be a goal in the first half : the odds for this for the games i select must be minimum of 1.29 ( this is what i have always found for the types of games i have selected ) 3. the "dutch" return for this is odds 13.00 stake £ 9.07 odds 1.29 stake £ 90.03 dutch return is = 1.1735 = 17.35% return on invest. ( roi ) bet £100 return £117.35 profit = £17.35 4. if there is a goal in the first half or if the game ends 0 - 0 i win £ 17.35 minimum on a £100 investment agreed ? 5. but if there is no goal in the first half i loose my bet on a goal to be scored in the first half - agreed ? 6. therefore my only remaining bet is that the full time score is 0 - 0 - correct ? but this leaves me exposed to a goal being scored in the 2nd half and me loosing all of my stake of £100 - something i do not wish to do ! 7. at this this stage ( during half time ) if the score is still 0- 0 and as i had originally bet on the 0 - 0 at odds of 13.00 minimum if i visit the exchanges now the lay odds of this game ending 0-0 will now be about 6.5 ( about half what i originally bet at ) MY QUESTION IS : WHAT BET WILL I NEED TO PLACE ON THE EXCHANGE TO RECOVER ( INSURE ) ALL OR MOST OF MY INITIAL £100 ( NOT even NECESSARY for me to MAKE ANY PROFIT and i would accept EVEN MAKE A VERY SMALL LOSS is ok to me ) ? BASICALLY I WANT TO TRY TO RECOVER ALL OR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE OF MY ORIGINAL £100 BET AT HALF TIME if the half time score is 0 - 0 ? AT THIS STAGE I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A PROFIT AS I THINK I SHOULD BE ABLE TO PICK ENOUGH GAMES on a regular basis WITH MY SELECTION process TO WIN ON THERE BEING A GOAL IN THE FIRST HALF AT 1.29 OR MORE i will be looking for a high percentage of games where the first goal will be scored in the first half HOPE YOU FOLLOW WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR and you can help THANKS FOR YOUR HELP in advance DREAMENDER

Re: 1st Goal + 0 - 0 Correct Score Back / Lay Help Please Sorry mate, but i dont think this bet would work as in order to receive your £100 back you would therefore need to lay the 0-0 at the odds of 6.5 giving you a liability of £550 so if it was not to end 0-0 you would have a massive loss, I may not be correct but thats what i think!

This is the same strategy discussed on many forums and in great depth called the "slicer 0-0 bet" which basically was exposed as a scam. The closest thing I have found to a sure thing green up is the betting exchange tool from football-data http://www.football-bet-data.com/tools.html but even then it can leave you exposed for a few minutes on certain games

Re: 1st Goal + 0 - 0 Correct Score Back / Lay Help Please thanks Banner for the advise.... do you thing it is therefore worth simply betting on there being at least one goal in the first half of the types of games that i have selected - so far out of the last 4 months of back testing ( 617 games ) i have undertaken there has been at least one goal scored in the first half of all 92.1% of the games i have selected at odds of min 1.29 ! my problem is i always hit high percentages when paper testing but as soon as i put real money down the roi goes south !

Re: 1st Goal + 0 - 0 Correct Score Back / Lay Help Please Having read your question a few times and tried to convince myself there was a positive answer available, there isn't ! It's a scheme that can not be operated to profit. Ask yourself this, wouldn't the bookmakers have closed it off by now if there was full cover available ? If you've managed to call 92.1 % correctly as winners, lets take a look at the potential "unprotected" outcomes of those 617 matches. 92.1 % is 568 winners, 49 losers. On stakes of £100 @ 1.29 odds, for 568 winners you would end up with profit of £16472. Deduct the 49 losing stakes £4900, and that leaves you with £11572 clear profit. When the winnings on that basis are so high, is there any need to try to "protect" every game ?
