Re: Scottish Cup > 4-5 Feb I fancy two bets in the cup this weekend. Aberdeen are a class above QOS and should comfortably beat them at home. Yes people will point to the East Fife defeat in the league cup but Aberdeen were very at that stage of the season and have improved significantly since then and will do the business on Sat. Motherwell are my second bet, they have had a good season and while their form has dipped recently they should have more than enough to beat a poor Morton side, particularly at home. 10/11 the double at Corals looks a great bet

Re: Scottish Cup > 4-5 Feb Inverness v Celtic *Both teams are in very good shape, without losing this year. Though Celtic is better team, CT have home advantage and they had one more rest day. Regarding tradition, last mutual matches of these two were uncertain in the north of Scotland. *Tudur Jones, Doran, Williams, Golobart, Hogg and Shinnie are out for home team again. On the other hand, newcomers Brozek, Ibrahim and Lustig won't play for Celtic. Bangura is out for the season, but key defender Majstorovic is back. Both coaches (Butcher and Lennon) have announced a very difficult and fighting game. *windy with light rain Hibernian v Kilmarnock *The Hibs are still in bad shape, and the Killie are qualified for League Cup final (like the Hoops). Home/away team have only one win at home/away is SPL. Hibernian won four of last five games vs Kilmarnock at Easter Road. The Killie have only one win in last 8 Scottish Cup away games, and they will play next SPL game already on Tuesday. *Regular striker Griffiths is suspended, Galbraith and Murray are long term injured, but topscorer O'Connor is back from a ban for Hibernian. Several new players will likely debut in this match. Kilmarnock will be without regular midfielders Buijs and Harkins. Team from Edinburgh does not have any pressure before this encounter and it can bring good result to them. *windy with moderate rain Motherwell v Greenock Morton *Well is on third place in the SPL, and Morton on the 7th place of the First Division. Home team is in better shape, as they finally achieved two consecutive wins at Fir Park. Motherwell was better in a friendly match against Morton (3:2) before start this season. *Defenders Craigan and Saunders are out, but topscorer Hidgon is back home squad. O'Ware, McCaffrey, Forsyth, Jackson and Youn are missings for Morton. McCall (Well cocah) announces strongest team on the pitch, while visitors have many absences. *rainy Aberdeen v Queen of the South *Both teams have solid results lately, but fact is that the Dons are in the middle of the SPL table, while visitor are at the bottom of the First division. Queen of the South have won 4 years ago and then they are eliminated Aberdeen (4:3) from semi-final of this competition. *Newcomers Rae and Uchechi will miss this game, like injured list - Anderson, Mawene, Milsom, Osbourne, Folly and Pawlett. McKenna and Reid are back, so away side will be only eithout Smith. Coach Brown announces a serious game of home team, as not to have experienced yet another unpleasant surprise. *windy with moderate rain St Mirren v Ross County *Another duel between SPL team and team from First Division, but there is no too big difference cause Ross County is a leader in its league. These two teams have played 10 matches in Paisley, and only one has been over two goals. *McLean and McGregor are missings, but Saints captain Goodwin is returned, while Carey is doubtful. Lawson is back, but Fitzpatrick and Flynn are out for the Spiders. Both coaches are cautious and know it will be a tough match. *rainy Ayr Utd v Falkirk *windy with heavy rain *enigma for me

Re: Scottish Cup > 4-5 Feb Rangers v Dundee Utd Dundee Utd eliminated the Gers from this competition last season (3:3 and 1:0). There were seen as many as 29 goals in last six mutual duels between these two at Ibrox. Topscorer Jelavic (moved to Everton) has left Rangers. It's still worth noting that away side had no match for 15 days. Lafferty, Whittaker, Naismith, Broadfoot, Ness and Hemmings are Rangers missings. Swanson, Severin and Mentel are out for Dundee Utd. I expect both teams to be motivated, home team is favorite sure but no value. Since I like to take chances with a higher odds in Cups... over 3 @2.20 bet365 1/10 ------------------------------- Hearts v St Johnstone Most interesting duel of eighth finals, between teams that are on the 4th place in the SPL with equal number of points. Hearts rested last weekend (like Dundee Utd), but already welcoming Celtic on Wednesday (SPL game). The Saints have won four times in the last six games at Tynecastle. Kyle is out, Kello is doubtful, Zaliukas is back for home team. On the other hand, Lomas hasn't missings. Very tricky game for betting, perhaps value is on the Saints, but I think that the Jambos will scored least one goal. bts @1.95 bwin 1/10
