Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *Lewlaur Supreme - Perth 4:50 - 33/1 into 8/1* Impressive winner of a 3m handicap here last May for Jim Goldie, but has failed to complete all 3 starts in points this year, and was soundly beaten on return for new yard at Ayr recently. *1 Point WIN @ 9/1 Betfred BOG* *Lady Amakhala - Doncaster 3:55 - 16/1 into 5/1* Improved when off mark at Ripon (1½m) in June but not built on that since, laboured on her Catterick return (Sohcahtoa well ahead in fourth). *1 Point WIN @ 13/2 Boylesports BOG* *Ahzeemah - Doncaster 4:30 - 4/1 into 3/1* Lingfield maiden winner who seems sure to add to his tally this year judged by improved ½-length second of 8 to Main Sequence in handicap at Newmarket (1¼m) on return. *1 Point WIN @ 3/1 VC BOG* *Long Awaited - Doncaster 5:35 - 9/1 into 4/1* Well-related sort who looked a useful prospect on 2011 return when easily landing 6f Ripon maiden. Not match that in 3 starts after, but wouldn't dismiss on reappearance/debut for new yard. *1 Point WIN @ 9/2 VC BOG* *Red Law - Plumpton 7:25 - 11/1 into 5/1* Cashed in on career-low mark to shed maiden tag in 5-runner 2m handicap chase at Huntingdon in March 2011. Just 1 lb higher now following lacklustre return, but has a bit to prove. *1 Point WIN @ 6/1 Hills BOG*

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 I've just done an Archie Score (http://www.hoof.demon.co.uk/archie.html) for this system and its currently 0.46 and has never risen about 2.0 during its lifetime, which is slightly disturbing news and means even after over 300 bets and a seemingly steady(ish) upward trend, there is about a 50% probability the return is pure chance.

Ok Woods, to be honest i have had enough of all these trends, probabilities, pure chance, upward trends. I couldn't give a solitary monkey about any of that. I am doing my system, don't need all this technical nonsense. But thank you for the input. :)

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012

That's fine aidy. Its just information that's all. Up to everyone to do with it what they want.
It's appreciated Woods.. What bugged me was when you said there is a 50% probability the return is pure chance.. Every single bet that is ever placed is pure chance, so i would say 100% probability is pure chance.

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *Spanish Wedding - Kempton 4:45 - 5/1 into 3/1* Steady if unspectacular progress in 3 maidens at up to 1m, finishing runner-up here in December (race worked out quite well). Gelded since, and this trip will suit now handicapping. *1 Point WIN @ 4/1 Betfred BOG* *Sea Soldier - Kempton 5:15 - 14/1 into 7/1* Raced solely on turf, and off the mark at the fourth attempt in maidens over this trip at Warwick in June. Unable to dominate big field at Doncaster final 3-y-o start and drawn wide on return. *1 Point WIN @ 17/2 VC BOG* *Dancheur - Kempton 5:45 - 13/2 into 5/2* Taking winner of ordinary 5f maiden at Nottingham on sole juvenile start, and again shaped well when fifth on handicap debut at Redcar earlier this month. More to come, especially at 6f. *1 Point WIN @ 11/4 Bet365 BOG* *Jonnie Skull - Wolverhampton 8:55 - 15/2 into 5/1* Won 4 times last year and close to best when scoring over C&D in February. Largely remained in form since and easy to forgive latest effort when tried over unsuitable 1¾m. *1 Point WIN @ 6/1 VC BOG*

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *Baby Dottie - Lingfield 4:00 - 10/1 into 7/2* Won her maiden over C&D in 2010 but has generally struggled in handicaps since, so not hard to look elsewhere despite dropping in the weights. *1 Point WIN @ 4/1 Ladbrokes BOG* *Teacher - Yarmouth 3:10 - 10/3 into 5/4* Didn't offer much in 3 quick runs in 7f maidens last year but top yard perseveres and he's starting out in handicaps off a low mark. Very interesting, particularly if market vibes positive. *1 Point WIN @ 7/4 Betfred BOG* *San Marino - Exeter 2:20 - 40/1 into 11/1* Won C&D novice hurdle in November 2009 under similarly testing conditions. Sidelined for nearly 2 years, and not done enough either start since comeback in January to merit support. *1 Point WIN @ 16/1 Betfred BOG* *Border Lad - Exeter 2:50 - 14/1 into 6/1* Won twice over hurdles in 2010/11, but has lost his way, and tried in headgear on last 3 starts without success. Not a fluent jumper of hurdles, so plenty to prove on debut over fences/for new yard. *1 Point WIN @ 7/1 Betfred BOG* *Netley Marsh - Kempton 8:35 - 10/1 into 10/3* Finished powerfully to score at Salisbury (6f) in June and should be suited by this sort of trip. Opening mark gives him work to do, though, unless he's improved for gelding operation. *1 Point WIN @ 4/1 Paddy Power BOG*

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *Tagula Night - Goodwood 2:50 - 14/1 into 5/1* Back on track in a hood when scoring in C&D handicap in September for Walter Swinburn. Not so good at Beverley last time having shaped well on return at Kempton and headgear back on. *1 Point WIN @ 13/2 Paddy Power BOG* *Nicholascopernicus - Goodwood 5:15 - 8/1 into 4/1* Well backed on return/handicap debut when finding just Whipcrackaway too good at Nottingham (1¼m) last month. Will stay further but has to be of interest here. *1 Point WIN @ 11/2 Bodog*

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *Silent Rage - Fakenham 3:00 - 25/1 into 5/1* Runner-up in Limerick handicap hurdle in January 2009. Not seen under Rules since March of that month and recent point form not enough to make him of interest this time. *1 Point WIN @ 13/2 Paddy Power BOG* *Royal Curtsy - Fakenham 5:00 - 20/1 into 7/1* Point winner in 2011 but cut little ice in 3 starts over hurdles last season. Limited appeal. *1 Point WIN @ 10/1 Sportingbet*

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *All Fur Coat - Chester 1:35 - 10/1 into 4/1* Runner-up on both starts to date, and built on debut effort when behind Tassel at Newmarket last time. Winner flopped since, and will need to improve again if she's to break her duck now. *1 Point WIN @ 5/1 Bet365 BOG* *Confessional - Chester 3:05 - 8/1 into 4/1* Quirks responsible for poor strike rate, but solid efforts when placed 5 times in sprint handicaps last year. Has shaped as if needing both runs this year, and should last longer this time. *1 Point WIN @ 5/1 Bet365 BOG* *Fleeting Image - Chester 3:40 - 11/1 into 13/2* Sir Percy half-sister to several winners who has shown similar form to make the frame in 9.5f maidens at Wolverhampton on all 3 starts. Should be as effective on turf, but others preferred again. *1 Point WIN @ 8/1 Boylesports BOG* *Amazing Valour - Ffos Las 6:00 - 12/1 into 7/1* A long way below last winning mark (October 2009), but looking increasingly reluctant. Didn't jump well over C&D when last seen in March and others make more appeal. *1 Point WIN @ 8/1 Bet365 BOG* *Mister Hyde - Ffos Las 7:40 - 8/1 into 7/2* Awarded 2½m Uttoxeter novice chase in December, but didn't progress in handicaps in that sphere subsequently. No surprise if he fares better now back hurdling in first-time blinkers, though. *1 Point WIN @ 9/2 Bet365 BOG* *Sasheen - Kempton 6:20 - 10/1 into 11/2* Scored twice from the front in handicaps in 2011, including over C&D. However, well beaten final 2 starts of that campaign and entitled to need the run following a 133-day absence. *1 Point WIN @ 8/1 Bet365 BOG*

Re: Aidymacs Market Movers 2012 *Personal Touch - Chester 4:15 - 11/2 into 10/3* Won 7f Redcar maiden in November and returned with good effort when nose second to Rusty Rocket at Nottingham. Good fourth from out of the weights on Saturday and leading claims from proper mark. *1 Point WIN @ 7/2 Bet365 BOG* *Hardy Plume - Yarmouth 8:25 - 20/1 into 5/2* Pedigree strongly suggests he'll be seen to better effect as a 3-y-o and has shaped that way in 3 starts fo far. Has looked in need of the experience and subsequently gelded. *1 Point WIN @ 3/1 VC BOG* *Fitobust - Wincanton 6:05 - 10/1 into 11/2* Stoutly-bred sort whose record over hurdles has been patchy. One of his better efforts under a more positive ride when fifth at Exeter last time, but bit more needed to get off the mark here. *1 Point WIN @ 6/1 Bet365 BOG*
