georgeCOSTANZA
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August Sport Horse Racing Event Wolverhampton 19:50 Selection Tax Break Strength 10/10 Date 10/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Victor Chandler @ 5.00 Reasoning Current favorite and still unexposed. Won in penultimate run at the C&D in his debut for trainer David Barron beating former stablemate Crown Cousel. Barron have done little wrong at the track all year having won 5 of 14 (35%). The selection was previously trained by Mark Johnston and was sired by Motivator at the cost of 150,000gns as a 2yo. Current connections got him for £18,000 at Doncaster last November. He was a bit dissapointing last time our for his Handicap debut but the Good to Soft ground and the 1 mile trip may be to blame. He finished 7th of 13 by 6 3/4 lengths. Return to this surface should get him back to winning form.
georgeCOSTANZA
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August Sport Horse Racing Event Kempton Park 20:00 Selection Great Acclaim Strength 10/10 Date 10/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Victor Chandler @ 4.00 Reasoning Easy winner at the course and distance last time out, 35 days ago. He also won at Leicester to start the year over 7f. The yard had a great day with two over the 6f trip yesterday with a 2nd in the Prix Maurice De Gheest Goldlikova Stakes (Group 1) and 1st for the Patrick P. O'Leary Memorial Phoenix Sprint Stakes (Group 3). This is the only 6f runner of the day from trainer James Fanshawe. Fanshawe does not send him here unless they are ready to win. His record for the year at the track is 7 winners from 14 runners for a strike rete of 44%. The selection is brother to quite useful 6f 2yo winner Berbice so he should win many more races. fintron
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August 7.30 Kempton Sammy Alexander - sfot ground has been against him lately but willl appreciate the return to the AW, and he is a CD winner here. 8.00 Kempton Capone - C&D winner in 2009 and retrurned from long break with impressive run for new trainer at Yarmouth last time. Should strip fitter for that run. 8.30 Kempton April Fool - last seen contesting a warm contest for apprentices on ground slower than ideal and little surprise he finished well held. Return to a track and trip over which he is proven is a big plus and big run anticipated. 9.00 Kempton Diamond Run - turned out under a penalty here after scoring on handicap debut at Lingfieldl last time. Looks weighted to give a good account.

His record for the year at the track is 7 winners from 14 runners for a strike rete of 44%. The selection is making his Handicap debut after three runs. He is well bred and a Class 5 race should be easy for him - half-brother to seven winners inc Border Patrol (6f-1m, inc Gr 3) and smart trio Boston Lodge (7f/1m), Brecon Beacon (5f/7f at 2yrs, stayed 1m4f in US) and Eisteddfod (5f-7f); dam useful 6f-1m winner at 2-3. He is improving and had his best last time out when 3rd of 6 to the Ryan Moore ridden Our Gal and Marco Botti's Crystal High. It was his first run at 7f from previously running at 1m. 7f today. georgeCOSTANZA
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August Sport Horse Racing Event Wolverhampton 20:50 Selection Illandrane Strength 10/10 Date 10/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 3.50 Reasoning Raced at 7f and 1m from three career starts. He is the only entry on the card from trainer Ed Dunlop. Dunlop at the track this year have won 8 of 15 for a strike rate of 53%. The selection raced at Newmarket twice last year including the 15th of 20 finisheed in the £300,000 Tattersalls Millions 2YO Fillies' Trophy. He raced at 1m this year and only 10th of 15 there. Only seven runners and their form is nothing special. He should do well today with the to a less competitive maiden.
fintron
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August 7.50 Wolverhampton Unlimited - has found the trip stretched his stamina the last twice but drops back to 7f here, has CD winning form to name and booking of Queally suggests a big run is on the card. 9.20 Wolverhampton Till Dawn - was holding his form well over CD last year and has blown away the cobwebs with recent pipeopener on the flat. georgeCOSTANZA
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August Sport Horse Racing Event Kempton Park 21:00 Selection West Side Strength 10/10 Date 10/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 5.00 Reasoning Dropped to a Class 6 Handicap after failing to win in three maiden runs. He a 200,000euros horse from a useful dam. He was the 1/2 favorite last time out but was beaten into 4th of 9 runners at Doncaster. It's been 47 days since he raced and that should be enough time for trainer Jeremy Noseda to fix him up. He is fitted with headgear today and that might sharpened him up. He's been keeping on late in the race but just never been able to reach the leaders. This is race is weaker than previous tries and has a big chance to redeem himself. georgeCOSTANZA
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August Sport Horse Racing Event Wolverhampton 21:20 Selection Consistant (Each-way) Strength 3/10 Date 10/08/2011 Bookmaker/Price Victor Chandler @ 17.00 Reasoning Had run well here in the past. finished 3rd twice and 5th on debut here. His best run at the track was with an unplaced 3rd with jockey J-P Guillambert in a Handicap race to start the year. He raced in 2nd to Take Your Partner then was outpaced and had no chance. He's done little on Turf and the return to this track along with being reunited with Guillambert is a very good move.
w1nsome
Re: Flat Racing 10th of August Along Came Casey - Gowran 8:10 Looks a winner waiting to happen, was really unlucky at Galway when nearly brought down and would have definately won that race, Smullen on board for Weld again and this looks a golden opportunity to gain compensation. 7 Points win @ 6/4 (Bet365) BOG = nice...thx
