kevsul
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Nice going Lennox, Even if you did a 40p treble my way this week, it would have returned less, Your Lucky 63 returned over £1 more. Good luck for next week mate
Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Should say that this is the least hopeful I've felt in this hunt. Found it tough to meet the criteria while retaining confidence. Let's see what happens... Week 5 Aberdeen v Inverness CT: Scott Vernon to score any time @ 2.38 If anyone's going to score for Aberdeen this season, it'll be him. Celtic v St Johnstone: Over 1.5 first-half goals @ 2.25 Full explanation in SPL thread; Saints to pay for Celts' Euro flop. Dundee United v Dunfermline: Dundee Utd HT/FT @ 2.70 Again see SPL thread; United a step up from Pars' early opponents. Hibs v St Mirren: Draw @ 3.25 The hosts can't defend as badly as last week, but either way Saints are wasteful. Kilmarnock v Hearts: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00 Back to the SPL thread ye go; should be an open game. Motherwell v Rangers: Motherwell +1 (EH) @ 2.15 Well full of confidence, while I don't think Rangers know how they want to play. Stake: £6.30 Potential return: £163.14 :ok

I said it was a tough card! ;) Wraps up a horrific weekend as those who follow the SPL thread will know. Until next week...
Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Week 6 Dunfermline v Motherwell: Motherwell @ 2.60 See the SPL thread for reasoning, where I've got draw cover. Hearts v Hibs: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.20 Both sides have decent attacking options, expect an open game. Inverness CT v Kilmarnock: Kilmarnock @ 3.00 Full details in SPL thread, where I've got Killie on a plus HC. Rangers v Aberdeen: Steven Naismith to score any time @ 2.00 Gers' main man is fresh after missing Euro duty. St Johnstone v Dundee United: Draw @ 3.25 Both sides should cancel each other out in midfield. St Mirren v Celtic: Both to score @ 2.05 Saints have the sort of tricky, pacy players that trouble Celtic. Total stake: £6.30 Potential return: £179.09 :hope
greenweegie
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Allright Lennox. Any chance you can hurry up and win, getting bored following you. :loon Only joking you mate. Really enjoying following your bets. Your analysis on the SPL is bang on, also provides a lot of info I'm not aware off or to lazy to check out myself. Two reasons I'm following you. 1. To keep my bets this season consistent instead of lots of smaller bets without doing some research. 2. Living in Scotland and being a Celtic fan i have a massive interest in the SPL. I know last week you were a bit down but i hope you keep going. Would love to follow you for a season and see how things work out. Still kicking myself that i missed your first week All the best
Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Hey mate, thanks for the support. Always good to know someone's reading! Hope you check out the SPL thread, always some good tips and more detailed reasoning in there. Could always do with some more contributors - you should get involved. kevsul
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s That 3-3 was a good result today, Motherwell way in front, then the 1-1 with Callie nicking a late winner, would of been a super start if it went the other way 2 from 3 is good though

Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Week 7 Celtic v Motherwell: Mohamed Bangura to score any time @ 2.00 He might start on the bench, but debut goals are what dreams are made of. And he's the "new Henrik Larsson", so he'll score, right? Dundee United v Rangers: Most goals in 2nd half @ 2.10 Old faithful line for the sleepy-starting lunchtime kick-off. Hibernian v Aberdeen: Hibernian @ 2.38 They haven't won at home in the SPL for about 400 years, but I think Hibs are about to hit a wee purple patch. Inverness CT v Hearts: Hearts @ 2.25 Have taken Hearts with draw cover in the SPL thread. Expect them to have too much in all departments. Kilmarnock v Dunfermline: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.20 Juicy price for a meeting of one of the league's best attacking sides against a defence really starting to creak. More in SPL thread. St Mirren v St Johnstone: St Mirren @ 2.38 Battle of the Saints should see the Paisley version go marching on. I think they've too much pace in attack for the Perth men's defence. Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Week 7 Celtic v Motherwell: Mohamed Bangura to score any time @ 2.00 - LOSS Dundee United v Rangers: Most goals in 2nd half @ 2.10 - WIN Hibernian v Aberdeen: Hibernian @ 2.38 - LOSS Inverness CT v Hearts: Hearts @ 2.25 - LOSS Kilmarnock v Dunfermline: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.20 - WIN St Mirren v St Johnstone: St Mirren @ 2.38 - LOSS Week 7 return: £0.89 Total staked: £44.10 Total return: £71.02 TOTAL P/L: +£26.92 Guff
Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Week 8 Aberdeen v Kilmarnock: Draw @ 3.20 Both sides will sense the three points are up for grabs, so might just cancel each other out. Dundee United v Inverness CT: Lauri Dalla Valle to score any time @ 2.38 On-loan Fulham man will be United's key hope with Johnny Russell suspended. Caley defence has been generous at times and he should get chances. Dunfermline v Hibs: Garry O'Connor to score any time @ 2.88 Wouldn't it be typical if the big striker put a troubled week behind him to score against a defence that belonged in a circus team on the basis of last week at Killie. Hearts v St Mirren: St Mirren or draw (double chance) @ 2.10 A bit of a hunch here; I sense all is not well at Tynecastle under Paulo Sergio. The crowd will expect, and that might work in the visitors' favour. Motherwell v St Johnstone: Motherwell (-1EH) @ 3.50 More reasons why I like Well in the SPL thread. I think they'll win this, so let's hope they do it with style. Rangers v Celtic: Draw @ 3.25 I'm on Celtic (see SPL thread) with draw cover, but the first OF clash of the season could be cagey. Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s It's been a few weeks since a profitable round, so I'm thinking about lowering the minimum odds to 1.80. Will persevere this week though. Week 9 Celtic v Inverness CT: Over 3.5 goals @ 2.38 Expecting Celtic to go for the kill here. If they hit top form, an inexperienced Caley won't stand a chance. Dunfermline v Rangers: Most goals in 2nd half @ 2.10 Old faithful for the lunchtime game, no reason to change things. Hibs v Dundee Utd: Hibs @ 2.50 Cup win will have boosted confidence at Easter Road. About time Hibs won there. Motherwell v Aberdeen: Motherwell @ 2.00 The Dons are in bad shape. Well could seriously cut their throats here. St Johnstone v Hearts: Draw @ 3.25 Tight game in store, neither side will give much away. St Mirren v Kilmarnock: Draw @ 3.20 Two of the best sides to watch in the SPL could pass each other to death. Potential return: £196.
Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Having given it some thought, I'm going to call it a day in this thread. Truth is, it's hard to find anything exciting over 2.00 in the SPL, and lowering the odds threshold would only make it harder to turn a profit. A £20 profit after 9 weeks is better than a kick in the teeth. Thanks to everyone who showed an interest in the thread. :ok
Atko
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s I like this attitude. Too often we, as punters, continue blindly with a strategy or a system like this that is going to cost us money. You have done very well to turn a profit out of nine weeks but law of averages suggest, as you point out, that it's becoming harder to turn a profit out of this system. What I would implore followers of this to do is to visit the SPL threads more regularly. Lennox is one of the top punters there alongside Kosher Readies and many others who post there infrequently. Most weeks that thread turns a profit, yet it is one of the lowest viewed. A small visit may make you some big cash ;) Look forward to reading your posts in that domain Lennox :ok
Lennox
Re: SPL - Scottish Premier Lucky 63s Cheers Atko :ok Good to see some promotion of the SPL thread. Would say most of the regulars are turning over a decent long-term profit in there so it'd be good to see some new faces.
