Quick question from a newbie.....

Recommended Posts

Well, actually a couple. Firstly, I've been reading through some of the threads and many people are talking about a points system.... I'd already made a couple of posts with predictions and so on for future boxing matches before I came across the Glory Hunters section. So - am I to post predictions or get involved in discussion in those threads, or are those merely for the points league? Secondly - my sports are football, rugby, cricket and boxing..... do I start a thread of my own on the glory hunters section or shall I just contribute toward other threads in those topics. For instance poster wrimc (who I know from boxing forums) has started a boxing thread in there, would I be best doing my own, and a separate one for each sport? Thanks in advance :ok

Re: Quick question from a newbie..... Hi LL and :welcome to PL. :ok There's no points league as such, it's just we prefer people to state points rather than pounds because there's often ego attached to people who state I had 2 grand on this etc.. and it just causes arguments and unrest. ;) If your posts have reasoning then absolutely they are better served in their respective threads, in the right sub-forum. Glory Hunts are a bit of fun, but if you want to give detailed reasoning behind bets (a few lines is fine), then stick to the forums, where you will see a lot of quality usually. :ok
