So get your team together, play your way to The Five A Side Poker Championship Final and have a share of over $100,000! Teams are made out of 5 players who will compete in MTTs and accumulate points for their team according to their finishing position. All the Action inclouding picking your team and following their progress can be found on the special Five A Side Microsite CHECK IT OUT How do I get stuck in? Registration beings on April 18th and will be available for 3 weeks until May 8th 2011. The following week (May 9th - May 12th) will be a final changes and organisation period for all the Championships teams. Each player will choose his role in his team (Captain, Midfielder, Defender, Keeper or Forward), and will register to his team in 3 easy steps: The Captain creates a team in the promotion web page and each member of the team gets his role The team members confirm their participation in the tournament lobby The team members register to their weekly tournaments as per their role in the team The weekly tournaments are divided into 2 leagues: The Five A Side Poker Championship Gold League: $30 + $5 The Five A Side Poker Championship Silver League: $5 + $1 REGISTER NOW I don't have a team, can I still play?! Does Ireland still have a chance at winning the World Cup some day?! (Ok, possibly a bad example!) Of course you can! Players who do not have a team are able to register through a special general registration tournament in the poker lobby. These players will be teamed up on a "first to arrive, first seated" level and will be automatically assigned with a role by Paddy Power Poker. April 18th-May 8th, 2011- Registration stage. b. May 9th-May 12th, 2011- lobby registration and modifications. c. May 16th-June 9th, 2011- weekly tournaments. d. Playoff stages: June 13th, June 16th, and June 20th-June 22nd, 2011. Only the captain of the team can register the team’s members in the promotion’s web page. Players who have no members to register with will be able to register through a special tournament in the lobby. PaddyPowerPoker will team up the players on a daily basis, on a first to register first to be served level and will also decide on the roles of the players in their team. In case the number of players will not allow an equal number of teams, the last player to register will have to find other members in order to complete his team and participate. Players will be able to register to only one team in each League, but can play in both leagues. New teams cannot be created after May 8th at 23:59. Players cannot change their role in the team after May 12th at 23:59. A team must include 5 separate individuals. The buy in of the tournament is divided to 2 leagues: a. Gold League: $30+$5 ($3 of the fees are allocated to the prize pool). b. Silver League: $5+$1 ($0.5 of the fees are allocated to the prize pool). Each of the Group stage tournaments will feature a prize pool, as per the tournaments’ buy-in and the number of players. In case of a tie in the weekly Team of the week prizes leaderbard, the team with the lowest sum of positions will be awarded. In case of a tie in the weekly Player of the week prizes leaderbard, the prize will equally split between the two players. In case of a tie in the Playoffs Final, the tied teams will be awarded the average Prize of their respective position. For example: in the Gold League, if 2nd and 3rd are tied in the Playoff final, each team will receive $10,500. I am interested too, but I would need to register on a different i-poker skill since paddy doesn't let Dutch players play on their pokerroom. Would it be a problem if I registered from William Hill? If the team registration is through the site I guess you probably do have to. I reckon it doesn't matter, as long as you input: Terms & ConditionsPlayer MUST use their nickname when registering.
