kroni Posted February 1, 2011 Author Share Posted February 1, 2011 Re: Longest Travellers System After looking through the results i've decided to change the miles travelled, horses will have to have travelled 170+ miles to qualify from now on. Both Jumps and Flat systems has made a loss under 170 miles judge 1pt win stakes. Suprisingly 200+ miles is also showing a loss at 1pt win stakes, the most profitable is 170-190 on the jumps which shows around 50pt profit to 1pt win stakes. I was tempted to scrap each-way bets and go for win only, but theres has been lots of placed horses at big prices so i will carry on with it but it will now be 10/1 and upwards for e-w and anything under 10/1 will be win only. Since changing the each-way to 10/1+ there hasn't been many winners between 6/1 and 9/1 and not many bigger priced places horses at all so probably less profitable than if i'd left it 6/1+ for each-way as ive missed abit of place money at around 6/1-9/1. Some slight changes again so here are the current rules: 1) Trainers only runner to travel over 170 miles 2) Prize money range is 2k to 10k 3) Stake is 1pt win on each selection @ SP Reasons for not having prize money under 2k is that it was showing a big loss maybe because the horses that run in these value races are very inconsistent and tend to take turns in winning and usually NHF races are under 2k also. 1pt win stakes i will try as its easier for me to record the results as i don't have much time to do this.:beer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
