I wasn't watching that race, i'm not a massive fan of Irish racing and try to avoid it usually (wish I had avoided it this afternoon as well!). Did it fall? Or just run out of energy on the run in. Front three were fairly clear of the rest at the 2nd last fence and mine was travelling well. On a hurdles race you have to bet before the last is jumped in order to get any price at all, and that is the way I play it. He jumped it ok and there was only half a furlong to go to the line, but a 25/1 shot flew home to take a place and demote mine into 4th place.
