Reasoning	Omsk is returning home after a four game road trip where they lost three games. They've been solid on home ice winning eight of 11 games played scoring 36 goals and allowing 26 goals (5.64 goals per game on average). Newly promoted Yugra has had a good start to the season and they've lost only twice in regulation from nine away games so far. Their defense hasn't been that great with 28 goals allowed in those away games but they've been able to keep up scoring 27 goals themselves (6.11 goals per game on average). Omsk should certainly score a few against shaky Yugra defense but the visitors shouldn't be underestimated. You should expect the visitors to come on hard, not playing passively as most small clubs do against *bigger* opponents. For exaple Yugra scored four goals on road against Ufa and Magnitogorsk. Their latest road affair was also impressive as they won 2-3 against Kazan after regulation. Should be goals with the hosts pressing the shaky defense of Yugra and the visitors not backing off an inch.

Reasoning	Dynamo has been great on home ice winning nine games from 13 played scoring 38 goals and allowing 23 goals (4.69 goals per game). They've played their last three games on home ice losing first two games against tough opponents Petersburg and Ufa (3-4 and 2-4) and then winning their latest game 3-0 against poor Cheljabinsk. Magnitogorsk has done well on road winning eight of ten matches scoring 36goals and allowing 30goals (6.6goals per game). They've had some issues with scoring in their latest two games which has lead to losing both of them (2-3 and 3-1). Dynamo is usually a very tight team defensively on home ice but as the two loses against tough teams Ufa and Petersburgh showed the defense is anything but invincible. Luckily the hosts usually produce decent amounts of offense to allow little lapses. The visiting team Magnitogorsk is one of the most offensive teams of the league although struggling a bit of late. They've scored atleast three goals in 15 of 19 games played so far and they should be able to generate scoring chances against Dynamo today. So both teams are capable offensively and mostly due to Magnitogorsk's more offensive play style I'm opting for the over bet here.

Reasoning	Petersburg has been surprisingly tame on home ice winning five of 11 games. Mostly this is due to their defense as they've allowed 30goals during those home games scoring 34 goals (5.82goals per game). Their offense on home ice seems to be awakening though as they've scored 16 goals in last three home games (atleast four goals in each). Novobirsk has done surprisingly well on road so far winning six of 11 games. They've played pretty passively scoring 26goals and allowing 24goals during those games (4.56goals per game). They've played excellent of late coming off to todays game with a five game winning streak. Petersburg should win this but you can't ignore the good form of the vistors. Still somehow it's hard for me to believe that Novobirsk's defense could handle hot SKA offense and I see the home side scoring a punch today. Novobirsk should also get on the board as the hosts defense is still far from perfect. Over with odds over evens sounds good enough.

Reasoning	Atlant Mythishi has been a big lead down so far winning only four of nine home games played (and two of those were after regulation). Their offense was totally missing as they scored only five regulation time goals in first seven home games. The last two home games have given some hope tough as they scored atleast three goals in both of them (4-2, 3-4). The defense has been going down as the offense has gone up as they've allowed 12 goals in last four games (atleast three goals in all but one game). Ekaterinburg has been awful on road losing nine games of 11 played. They've scored 19 goals and allowed 37goals in those games (5.09goals per game). The stats don't give much reason for to expect lots of goals in this game but I think there just might be some today. This is mainly due to Mytishis improving offense and Ektarinburg has been melting down on road all season. Also it's not hard to believe that the visitors would get a tally or two as the home team seems to have thrown away the plans for tight defense. With the line being set to even 5.0 goals it's enough to take a bite with odds raising above evens. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the home team would cover the five goals alone today.
