Lin Zhu (+1.5 sets) to beat Ludmilla Samsonova at 2.04 with Unibet
Despite Zhu having some minor medical issues against Kudermetova, I like the odds for her getting at least a set against Samsonova, who's yet to begin her Elite Trophy campaign. She was playing incredibly determined tennis against Kudermetova, and it really feels like she's the home underdog that will get some upsets, perhaps even several after the first one. She's improved massively this year, and it's never easy to say which Samsonova will turn up.

hoping the Sonego can take advantage of his lucky loser card here having lost in qualifying, he did make it to the final a couple years ago beating Djokovic along the way, Sonego can take advantage of his superior indoor hardcout experience in this match up. 
 

Renata Zarazua to beat Emina Bektas at 2.00 with Unibet
Bektas has been semi-injured for a while, and Zarazua, in home conditions, has the right playing style to take advantage of that I'd say. She can run and play longer rallies all day long, and she also tends to perform reasonably well in Mexico, so I'm honestly not sure what makes her the underdog here.

Christopher O'Connell to beat Sebastian Baez at 1.77 with Unibet
Baez isn't really a player that you'd like to back indoors, and Christopher O'Connell also already has 2 qualifying wins under his belt here, which is a major plus. Baez did beat him last time out, but the form book is on O'Connell's side, and I think he's improved more since then as well.

Elena Gabriela Ruse to beat Tamara Korpatsch at 1.57 with Unibet
Tamara looked rather nervous against Lys in the previous round, and she wasn't even playing that well, so I don't exactly believe that she'll turn up in a better form in the finals. Ruse has been flying through, meanwhile, and she'll get the crowd support as well, so I like her chances here.

Ben Shelton to beat (-1.5 sets) Aslan Karatsev at 3.10 with Coolbet
No brainer, Shelton comes with an enormous confidence. Can't see anything than a straigt set here for Shelton. 1-0 h2h since USO two months back where Shelton won quite easily 3-1 after taking set 3 and 4 by 6-2 and 6-0. I've been expecting Shelton to get to this point where he finds himself in a final of something as this 500.

karastev to beat De Minaur

Im hoping that Karastev can maintain his high level of performance here, he won 96% of his first serves yesterday and 68% on his second serve which is remarkable really. He has the game to blast De Minaur off the court if his game is on point. On his day he can give anyone a game but he can be inconsistent so this does depend on what Karastev turns up, I’m hoping it’s the one who won his last 2.

Clara Burel to beat Lucrezia Stefanini at 1.54 with Unibet
Stefanini came under quite some pressure against Kawa, the scoreline was actually fairly misleading, and Burel shouldn't choke as much as Kawa did when it gets tough. Beating E. Andreeva in a long match should be a bit of a confidence booster for her as well.

Ymer to beat Prizmic
Ymer may not have had a great year but on his day can produce some good quality tennis, hoping he can be inspired by his last round victory over Bautista Agut plus having the home crowd on his side should hopefully play a part against the talented young Prizmic 

Mai Hontama to beat Nadia Podoroska at 1.90 with Unibet
Hontama managed to beat Podoroska in straight sets not that long ago in Osaka, and I can definitely see a repeat of that here. Hontama is just too patient for Podoroska, who oftentimes errors herself out of the contention by pushing too hard.

The American has beaten two local players in Qualifying and comes up against their number 1 hope now, and though is 0-2 against him on the surface it was a while ago and did take a set off the Japanese player each time

Paolini to beat Siegemund
 
My reasoning for this is that I was very impressed with Paolini’s patient and overall consistent tennis in her victory  over Garcia in the previous round, I’m also factoring in that Paolini has had an extra days rest ahead of this match up and maybe Siegemund played a 3 match yesterday and I’m interested to see how see follows up at the age of 35. 
 
Also looking at playing Paolini to win in 3 sets. 

Jessica Pegula to win WTA Seoul 2023 at 1.73 with Bet365
Clearly the best player left in the field, playing well at the moment, and she's also getting the crowd support due to her Korean heritage. Happy to pick this up even at short odds.

I'm going with McDonald at 1.33 against Moutet. Giron against Galan at 1.50 and Karatsev against Halys at 1.50. Combined odds of 3.00
McDonald is the much better player out of the two and Moutet is just not that guy.
Karatsev is in the much better form and played a nice tournament in China last week.
Got some concerns about Giron but he should prevail in this one having much more and better wins on hard courts. 

Vera Zvonareva to beat Clara Tauson at 3.20 with Unibet
Taking this with a one set bookie, since I don't trust Tauson's fitness at all. Zvonareva should test here much more than Avanesyan after beating Boulter, and Tauson can just start tiring out at any point if her recent performances are anything to go by. I wouldn't have Vera above 2.50 here.

Magda Linette to beat Yulia Putintseva at 1.91 with Bet365
I didn't see Linette's match against Masarova, but she was seriously good against Saville, and she also outlasted Burrage after dropping her first set in the event against her. Putintseva has had a much easier route here, beating the incredibly struggling Tauson and then the not-so-great-anymore Maria. Linette likes the courts, and she can hit Putintseva off the court in ways that Maria can't. I would have her at 1.70 here at most.

Casper Ruud to beat Lorenzo Musetti at 1.53 with William Hill
Lorenzo Musetti has already dropped two sets this week, while Ruud is yet to drop one, and this is actually a tournament he won back in 2021, so he has every reason to try hard and feel good. Not much to say here, really.

Clara Burel to beat Sara Sorribes Tormo at 2.85 with Unibet
So far so good this week, and I'll back Burel yet again, to the surprise of noone. The odds are bigger this time around, and so is the challenger, but Sorribes Tormo played poorly in her previous match and complained a lot about the conditions/heat. Could be a good opportunity for Burel then, good luck!
