  1. Re: Flat racing 23rd June

havent posted for while, going to chance 2 on the morrow.. 8.50 TIPPERARYASIYA 20-1 1pt EW (BOYLESPORTS) 17 go to post for this tipperaryraces.ie Handicap 50-75 for horses 4 year old and over..And so again we have 4 places on offer(this will be 15 runners by off ha ha)..The selection from the cassidy stable has been over the Jumps of late but is more than capable on the flat.. It has not run for 116 days, but a quick check back on it's previous races shows it runs very well fresh..It record when running from a 90 day plus break is 21..The 2 was only a short head defeat after a 260 day break, the other after a 95 day break so it runs very well fresh.. Now it also runs well on ground with a bit of cut in it,which is certainly has tomorrow..Its record over 12 to14f on soft ground is very good..1321 to be sure..The favourite here is CONCRETE AND CLAY(9-2)..ASIYA beat CONCRETE AND CLAY by 9 lengths at the curragh on soft ground in october 2010 and is better off in the weights for tomorrows race.. The Jockey LF ROCHE carries a 5 pounds claim and is 1 from 1 on this horse, and it should go close Asiya - Tipperary 23 Jun 20:50 Outright Betting EW: 1/4 1,2,3,4 20/1 :? DANGER CONCRETE AND CLAY A favourites chance
    :clap Excellent tipping, nice one.
  2. Towcester 17/03 Been looking at Towcesters card today and one that sticks out for me is L'eldorado in the 3.45pm race. The horse is a course and distance winner previously and won well LTO, running on gamely at the end over a furlong further, so the 6lb rise shouldn't cause a major concern here. Kadouchski is probably the biggest danger, he also won LTO over 2miles but seemed to struggled home and with an extra 4lb today I can't see that horse winning.

  3. Re: Cheltenham Ticket Competition - Sat 2nd Oct - Free To Enter! Some good selections there! After 6 races; Peteg40 - 14 Points Chris34 - 13 Points Billy Hills - 9 Points tedthewolf - 5 Points jayalexander - 4 Points andyjkmak - 4 Points Looking at it, Peteg40 and Chris34 will fight it out in the last, although tedthewolf and jayalexander have slim outside chances. Billy Hills and andyjkmak thanks for taking the time to take part :cheers

  4. Re: Cheltenham Ticket Competition - Sat 2nd Oct - Free To Enter!

I thought more people would have entered this! Everyone's in with a chance :clap
Was hoping for a better turn out myself ( although im already failing with the maths with 6 entrants and 2 races :lol ) although as long as the winner has a top day at Chelters with the prize it doesn't bother me how many entered! Good luck with the remainder!
  5. Hi all, Long time no post but still a very keen reader of the forum and now my chance to give a little something back to the forum! Ive got one ticket to the showcase meeting at Cheltenham on Friday 15th October which unfortunately I wont be able to make. I will be running a competition this Saturday on the meeting at Wolverhampton in the evening, first race 5.30pm. Rules of the competition are as follows; One entry per race, if you wish add a reserve selection too if not you will go on the favourite in the event of a non runner. If your selection finishes 1st, you will receive 5pts, if your selection finishes 2nd, you will receive 3pts, and if your horse finishes 3rd you will receive 1pt. You will get one NAP selection ( again please add a reserve or you will not get a nap! ) and if this horse finishes in the frame you will receive double points ( 1st = 10, 2nd = 6, 3rd = 2 ). Anybody is welcome to enter but if you are not interested in the prize please state this when entering as i'd like the ticket to be used. The ticket is for the club / tatts enclosure which would usually cost £25 on the gate. I will post the ticket out early next week to the winner, unfortunately I may not be around much over the weekend so please be patient if I don't log on over the weekend until Monday to work out the points and the winner, I am running the competition on a Saturday as I am hoping for my entrants. Think thats all, any questions feel free to ask, Good luck! :ok

  6. Re: Ruk £20 is steep but it's also a very decent channel, shame they don't have a couple more preview programmes in the morning but as said the analysis is excellent and constant replay's after the days racing can be a benefit.
