It still remains a very dicey pick which ever player you chose to back for the win.  Betwise this is how I see it. Both of them have very potent and reliable first serves with Pliskova's being the more reliable. It would seem rather unlikely for anyone of them to win without going over 12.5 in total player games. In fact there is a very high chance of both players to go over 12.5 games. I am however siding with Pliskova over 12.5 games 8/11

    Indeed, what a joke.....!!

I like Donald Young -3,5 @1,92 for today.
Young is on a good form. He went to QF at Queens being defeated by Cilic.
Donaldson is clearly not a grass player. He only plays one or two games per year on this surface. Last year, he played only one and it was against.... Young at Newport and he lots 6/1 6/3. Last week, he lost 6/1 7/5 against Kamke at Queens...
    I expect an easy win.

I also took these 2 bets before seeing your post. I'm pretty confident for both.

My 4 major bets since the beg of RG have all been ridiculous.. I lost some money and won't bet on any H2H until the end.
I just cross my fingers for my 2 remaining bets to Win RG:
    Mladenovic @ 14
    Thiem @16
Good luck to all your remaining bets!

    J. Ostapenko to beat C. Wozniacki 6/5 Bet365
3 matches between the two players. 3 wins for Ostapenko. All as underdog and only dropping one set in those 3 matches. 2 on the clay. This is when Ostapenko wasn't in as good form as now. She's just beat Stosur who is in form herself just coming off a win at Strasbourg. If she keeps a level head here (as it's her first Grand slam semi) she wins.
    T. Bacsinszky to beat K. Mladenovic 11/10 Boylesports
Lots of breaks in this one I feel. Timea has been breaking for fun and has been broken abit too. She went 5-2 up on Venus only to lose 7-5 but it takes some balls for a player to come back and win from there. Many you will see go on to lose the second set with a whimper too. These two have met twice with 1 win each, Timea won the most recent.
This was a difficult choice to tip or not as I have Timea to win the tournament. I wouldn't be on 1.80-2.00 but 11/10 is just enough for me to get involved.

    For today:
Suarez Navarro +4,5 vs. Halep @ 1,92 on Pinnacle. (5pts) + Suarez Navarro to Win @ 3,65 on Pinnacle. (1pt)
    Incredible odds on this game.
By just checking the H2H on clay, Suarez Navarro is at 4 Wins out of 4 games against Halep. Last one was Roma 2015 in semi final with a win of Carla 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.
If you take a H2H, it's 6/5 for Halep so she's not really dominating.
Since the beg of RG, both of them havent lost any set or went through Tie Break. Halep, as being ranked #3, had some easy games. It wasn't so complicated for Carla as well but Vesnina and Cristea are good opposition.

    Khachanov +2,5 sets @ 1,8 on Pinnacle (6 pts)
Khachanov is having a very good RG so far defeating Berdych (ok, it's hard to analyse this game but still) and Isner. By the way, he didnt concede any break points against him. He was very strong on his first serve with 90% win. Against Berdych, 88%!
Murray lost a set in his first 2 games vs. Kuznetsov and Klizan and almost lost one to Del Potro on Saturday.
I really think that Murray can loose one set again today and this game might even go in 5 sets.

Good summary, thanks! The irony is, of course, that Mladenovic has been more successful than Garcia since the split .

    Hi,
The crowd will clearly be behind Cornet.
Garcia decided to refuse to play for French FED Team last year to focus on a personal career. The girls in the team didnt understand her decisions and had some arguments. Cornet/Mladenovic/Parmentier are not talking to Garcia anymore.
On top of that, Garcia decided to stop playing double with Mladenovic. That's a shame and Mladenovic didnt really understood her decisions as they were really strong together. They won RG together last year.
Regarding the game: Garcia is more talented. However, Cornet is having an amazing RG so far. It's a no bet for me.

What a disastrous day yesterday. lost 2 bets. Williams was very serious! Pouille should have lost the first set but eventually is in strong form. (-10 pts)
    It can only get better!
Very surprised by Bertens and Cibulkova who should have won easily their 2nd round..
I put a coin on Radwanska @48 to win RG.

Nothing special today. I like Chardy & Olivo as underdogs.
    Good luck to all,

    Good to be back!
Roland Garros is not really doing well for the French players so far. Too bad as I'm French...! And my 2nd pick is not going to help this trend!
    My picks for today:
    V. Williams vs. Nara: Nara +5,5 Handicap 2,2 @pinnacle
I find the handicap very high as Williams is not going to win so easily IMO. If you check her recent results, she's not like her sister trashing her opponents 1/2 or 2/2 in 2 sets. She waits for the good timing to do the break during the set, and it's done. The 2 tournaments on clay that she played so far havent been so easy and her first round on Sunday lasted 1 hours and 40 minutes.
Nara is definitely not a strong opponent but she's always fighting hard, even more on a 2nd round of GS. Hopefully, she will cover the HDC.
    Pouille vs. Bellucci: Bellucci +5,5 1,9 @Pinnacle
Bellucci is in a pretty good form with 2 good tournaments in Roma and Madrid losing tight games against Cuevas and Goffin.
On the other hand, Pouille is not in a good run since 1 month. He lost in the first round these 2 tournaments mentioned above against Herbert & Querrey... For his first round in RG, he beat Benneteau in 5 sets who had a Wild Card...
If we talk about current form, there is no comparison. If you talk about experience, there is no comparison as well.
Mentally, Pouille is really strong and should be supported by all the Home fans. That's his main asset today but he will also have a lot of pressure.
As a reminder, he lost on the 2nd round last year in RG in 3 sets to Andrej Martin...!
Over is another possibility as I expect at least 4 sets.
    Good luck to all,

Yes, Indeed... Horrible RG so far in terms of bets and tennis.. Haven't seen a great game since the beginning..
So many forfeits + surprises so far.. It's ridiculous..
Anyway, small bets for me for today:
Svitolina first set @4.5 vs. S. Williams (3 pts) at pinnacle. + Svitolina (-1,5 sets) (1pts)  @14 on pinnacle
Considering the recent conditions + motivation issues with all these games postponed, Svitolina might be able to win the first set and surprise Williams.
Since the beginning of the tournament, she's flying (6/1 6/3 vs. Cristea, 6/3 6/0 vs. Townsend, 6/4 6/4 vs. Ivanovic). Of course Williams is another level but who knows.
    Small bets.

2 days without any big bets.. Just small stake not to be mentioned here.
    For today:
Safarova (-3,5) to beat Stosur @1.990 at pinnacle (6 pts)

First of all, Safarova is at 10-3 vs. Stosur and unbeaten on Clay in 3 games. It was 3 times in a row on a three setters and 2 times she could cover the 3,5 handicap. I'm confident that she will cover it this time. RG is the garden of Safarova.
Safarova is on fire conceding only 6 games so far in 2 games. Even if Diatchenko and Golubic are not top class players, I've watched the game and she was 100% under control.
Safarova won Prague tournament 1 month ago (beating Stosur in final by the way) before being disappointing in Madrid (walk over) and Roma (losing to M. Doi).

Stosur is a strong player and has a strong season on clay so far. However, she barely beats better ranked player than her.. She lost 6-2 6-0 against Halep in Madrid 1 month ago.

    Good luck all.

Back Gilles Simon (-1.5 sets) to beat Viktor Troicki for a 7/10 stake at 1.69 with Unibet
Back Andrej Martin - Over 9.5 games for a 6/10 stake at 2.10 with Paddy Power
Back Andrej Martin (+2.5 sets) to beat Milos Raonic for a 5/10 stake at 3.75 with Paddy Power
Simon is 12-0 against Troicki in terms of sets, so I reckon that he's going to beat him easily again - he might not be in the best of forms at the moment, but Troicki hasn't done much apart from beating Dimitrov recently either. Apart from that, I'll be backing Andrej Martin somewhat heavily, as I think that he's a bit underrated for unfair reasons. I rate him fairly highly in terms of talent and skills, it's just that his career has been getting constantly derailed by various issues. He should draw inspiration from the 3-0 win against Pouille and he's faced Raonic before, so he shouldn't be over-awed either, which could all easily lead to him being more competitive than the odds suggest.

Back B.Fratangelo/R.Gasquet - Over 3.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 3.00 with Paddy Power
Back Gilles Simon (-1.5 sets) to beat Guido Pella for a 7/10 stake at 1.74 with Unibet
Back Viktor Troicki (-1.5 sets) to beat Dusan Lajovic for a 7/10 stake at 1.74 with Unibet
Small profit on Tuesday with Nara and Anderson winning at nice odds, much better than Monday, but hoping for more. These three I like for Wednesday - Troicki and Simon should both be far too strong for Lajovic and Pella, while Fratangelo definitely has enough to win a set off Gasquet with his serve and big follow-ups. He's not as hopeless on clay as it looks like imo.

Not too bad yesterday with 1/2. +1,64 pts thanks to Cepede.
    For today,
    Cirstea (-2,5) to beat Svitolina @ 2,35 (5 pts).

Cirstea has been amazing during the qualifying rounds with 3 easy wins. Of course Svitolina is another level but she has showed some good tennis since the Clay seaseon has started with a very good tournament in Madrid beating Jankovic, Kovinic, Siegemund but loosing to Cibulkova in 3 sets. She's at ease on clay in 2016 and arrives in the final table with confidence. On the other hand, Svitolina only won 1 game in her last 3 tournaments on Clay. She's definitely a much better player on hard surface. She has a lot of points to defend here as she went to QF last year (more pressure...). I just don't think that she's capable of beating Cirstea today.

    Hi All,
I've been following this forum since several years, especially Czech for all his good tips/advice. Thanks by the way,
I joined one year ago just before RG but didn't post anything at that time.

I finally take the time to put some of my picks for RG:

Hantuchova to beat Lucic-Baroni @3.4 with Pinnacle (3pts)
Cepede Royg to beat Lisicki @2.64 with Pinnacle (3pts)

I took 2 underdogs for the R1 of RG.
Hantuchova had a great qualifying tournament by winning 3 games by 2 sets to nil. She's a very experience player (reached 4 times the 4thround of RG) who should be able to beat Lucic-Baroni.
LB did a great tournament in Strasbourg before losing 6-1 / 6-4 to Garcia.  Before reaching the final, she beat T. Babos but Parmentier and Mladenovic are definitely not very serious opponents these days.
I would expect this odd to be around 2.5.

Regarding the other bet, I'm betting against Lisicki more than betting for Cepede. However, Cepede, like Hantuchova, has already 3 wins in the qualifying tournament. Her motivation and confidence should be here for this game. This is The most important game of her young career.
Lisicki, on the other hand, hasn't done much since several months. She hasn't won 2 games in a row since February. 2016 is a disaster for her. I don't expect much from her here.
For the outrights, I put 1pt on Safarova @41 + 1pt @10 on Muguruza on Pinnacle as well.
    Good luck all,
