Re: Is this inventive or plain stupid? Olympiakos have won their league something like 12 out of last 13 times so are always in the Champions League. Hopefully he can bang a few goals in the CL for you where the whole of Europe are watching including Capello. GL with your bet.

Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06 I have decided to go for both teams to score at 5/6 with Bet365 for the Arsenal v Man Utd game. It is not often that teams can shut out United for 90 mins and i believe that they have more than enough talent to get at least one goal with Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo likely to start from the off. Arsenal will need to chase the game to try and overturn the first leg deficit and will look to continue there good recent form. With the return of Fabregas recently, as well as the form of other key players they should be able to create enough chances to score too. If Arsenal do take the lead i don't they will sit on their lead to get the game to extra time, all they do is look to play football which could lead to a very open game. I think the final result may be 1-1, or 2-1 for either team which is the reason of my choice for both teams to score rather than over 2.5 goals. Selection - Both teams to score at 5/6 Bet365

Re: Boxing...Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao
Surely looking at KOs from 10years ago when the guy weighed nearly 30lbs less is just as pointless? He is so much better now than then that it's not even the same boxer. People also were saying ''we'll see how good he is when Oscar/Ricky hits him at this weight'' but neither looked like doing so. Maybe it is just impossible to hit him! I dunno' date=' just don't think Mayweather will be knocking out Pacman anytime soon. If this one was a close thing then that one will be as tight as anything. Apparently some bookies are already offering odds on whether Hatton will fight Khan next?![/quote'] In todays Racing Post it had William Hill prices for possible future fights. It had Hatton 4/11 favourite to win against Khan, and it had Mayweather 8/13 favourite to win against Pacman. -
Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg
Jacko, use oddschecker.com to comare prices. Best price for Arsenal to qualify is 1/4 with various firms, including Bet365.Well done on your selection Jase82. Any idea how much Bet365 is offering for Arsenal to qualify? -
Re: CL 14-15/4 QF return leg
Great bet Mahno, hope you enjoy your winnings:beerCheck this out guys: Paddypower gives some nice odds on Liverpool goals: Liverpool to score 2 or more goals 7/4 :) Liverpool to score 3 or more goals 6/1 ;) Liverpool to score 4 or more goals 22/1 :eek -
Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April
Yeah, but if neither score or both score one each, or two each then it a tie and the bet is a loser, not void.just having a look on bet365 at more interesting bets as im sick of trying to bet on outcomes of matches this season im looking at 'goalscorer match bets', can someone let me know what this is exactly? for instance for the barca v bayern match it has 3 options leo messi 7/4 tie 8/11 luca toni 9/2 am i right in thinking that if i bet on messi then i am betting on him to score more goals than toni? -
Re: CL - 7th & 8th of April My only bet of the night is Barcelona to score in both halves at evens with paddy power. Barca have been dominating teams and scoring for fun, especially at the Nou Camp. I think the game could have a lot of goals in it, but i'd rather my bet of Barca scoring both halves than having over 2.5 goals at poorer odds as Barca could win without conceding. Barcelona - to just score in both halves - evens PP

Re: Cricket: West Indies vs England ODI Series & Twenty20 International
Some void and some don't. As it stands on Stan James' date=' my bet is still open so I'm hoping it's a winner given that the Windies are 3-0 up :lol.[/quote'] Did you get paid or void afterwards? Just wondering in case i do a similar bet, i wont use paddy power. I rang customer services and they said its because of the games innings being restricted its void. -
Re: Cricket: West Indies vs England ODI Series & Twenty20 International Paddy Power, and they have already got a six now.
-
Re: Cricket: West Indies vs England ODI Series & Twenty20 International For the most sixes bet, did England have to get at least one six for the bet to stand? I bet on West Indies and bet has been made void.

Re: Darts: Premier League Week 4 I can't help thinking that the 13/2 on offer at Skybet for Wade v Taylor may be a bit of value. Wade hasn't been playing too well recently, but the revival last week has given signs that he may be about to return to form. I know if Taylor brings his best game then he will win, but if he doesn't like in his draw the other week, then it may result in another draw. Small stakes on draw - Wade vs Taylor at 13/2 Skybet

Re: Uefa Cup 26/2/2009
If your fancying, i think that you might want to check the CSKA 3-1 bet you've done. Villa are 80/1 to win 3-1 with Stan James, CSKA are only 9/1 with S James but there is a best price of 16/1 with Lads.CSKA O 1.5 goals 10/11 skybet. CSKA 3-0 16/1 Lads CSKA 4-0 50/1 Lads CSKA 3-1 80/1 S james -
Re: Darts: PDC World Championship
Hi everyone. Any idea of Barney's average' date=' had him over 100.495. Thanks[/quote'] :welcome to PL mate. I've read Barneys' average was 101.50 and this is with the corrected update of Taylors' average being 110.94.:ok -
Re: Darts: PDC World Championship At the bottom of these link on bbc and skysports is the one i stated. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/darts/7810849.stm http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12288_4745359,00.html

Re: Darts: PDC World Championship Kev, where did you read that from or hear that? The guy that interviewed both Taylor and Barney at end said the average that i stated not 110.94.
-
Re: Darts: PDC World Championship
The final average was 109.76 to beat the previous best in a final of 109.50. The power is absolutely class.110.94 :eek:eek:eek. He's not bad is he :lol:lol. -
Re: Covering Euro08 bet
Yeah' date=' I know what you mean mate. Me and Boyd both backed Austria 0-2 points and they played with a bit of promise first game so we had a decision to make whether to cover it or let it ride. Thankfully I didnt cover it and won a tidy profit but had it go against me plenty of times.[/quote'] Wes, less of the gloating that you didn't waste any money on Austria to win a game and that i bottled it! ;) At least we both got nice profits for Euro 2008. -
Re: Darts: StanJames World Matchplay 2008 When i was watching the Phil Taylor match i heard commentator say something about some guy having £312,000 on Phil Taylor, does anyone know/hear if it was just to win the 1st round against Steve Beaton or to win overall?

Re: Golf: The Open , 2008
Well my main bet won with Els beating Mickelson by two and the record continues of Mickelson never beating Els. In a way i'm a bit relieved as but Els played well apart from his miserable performance of +10 on day one but did well just to make the cut. Overall he finished tied 7th but i just think if he had managed to do cope with the conditions a bit better i'd have at least got a top 5 payout as well as top 10. My other small stakes bets were losers with Wood being well clear at the top of amateurs and Westwood playing garbage to come below Kim but a nice profit thanks to Ernie! My main bet has been Ernie Els to beat Mickelson over 72 holes at 5/6. Some may think it is crazy to back an odds on with some of the massive prices available. I just don't think Mickelson is good at The Open Championships. Mickelson made his debut as an amateur at The Open in 1991 at Birkside, before returning as a pro in 1994, playing every year since, while Els has played at everyone since 1992. The main fact that the 5/6 (which is now 8/11 on betfair) is over the 14 years that both Mickelson and Els have played at The Open, Mickelson has NEVER come ahead of Els. Els has an excellent record at The Open Championships with seven top ten positions, including a victory in 2002, and never missed the cut wheras Mickelson has missed the cut 3/14 and only troubled the leaders once when coming 3rd in 2004 (Els came 2nd). Below is the summary of the overall positions/ shots between the two:- 1991- Mickelson as amateur, no Els 1992- Els tied 5th, no Mickelson 1993- Els tied 5th, no Mickelson 1994- Mickelson missed cut 1995- Els 5 shots ahead of Mickelson 1996- Els 3rd overall, 11 shots ahead 1997- Els 2 shots ahead of Mickelson 1998- Els 16 shots ahead of Mickelson (AT BIRKSIDE) 1999- Mickelson missed cut 2000- Els 4 shots ahead of Mickelson 2001- Els 7 shots ahead of Mickelson 2002- Els won overall, 12 shots ahead of Mickelson 2003- Els 7 shots ahead of Mickelson 2004- Els 2nd overall, Mickelson 3rd overall, 1 shot ahead 2005- Els 3 shots ahead of Mickelson 2006- Els 3rd overall, 8 shots ahead of Mickelson 2007- Els 4th overall, Mickelson missed cut I have also backed Els to win outright (18), top 5 and top 10 all on betfair. Can't remember the exact prices of them all at the moment. Other bets that i have taken are: winning nationaliy - U.S. at 5/2 with Coral as 10/13 Open championships have been won by an American, with a saver bet on Spanish winner at 8/1 as i like Garcia and Jimenez and feel they could be a big danger to the leaders on the Sunday. A double over 72 holes on Garcia to beat Mickelson and Westwood to beat Anthony Kim. I think both Garcia and Westwood will be suited to the course at The Open and could be amongst the leaders while Mickelson tends to struggle and apparently Kim has struggled in some of the practice to adapt to the course. odds - 2.4/1 with Coral. Also had a small interest bet on Saxton 7/2 to be top amateur.
Unable to catch up due to Ill Health, scrapped unfortunately.
