  1. The last time Southampton lost 4 straight EPL matches was in 2014

Southampton are winless in last 3 EPL matches - This EPL season alone they have encountered twice 4-match winless streak (matchday 1, 2, 3, 4 and matchday 9, 10, 11, 12)

Only Swansea, Hull, Arsenal and Man City managed to get some points from Turf Moor this season

  2. Tottenham on a 6 straight win streak in all competitions

Tottenham on a 5 straight win streak in their last 5 PL home matches

West Brom have not lost by 2 goals or more in all of their PL away matches this season

Tottenham have not won at White Hart Lane against West Brom since 2012

Since returning to EPL in 2010-11 season, West Brom have won only once against Spurs, losing 4 and drawing 8

  3. Crystal Palace vs Swansea

I believe that this would be one of the best opportunities for Palace to bounce back and at least have a breather. H2H wise, Palace is at the disadvantage, though...

    Some very far-stretched stats:

    Big Sam's H2H against Swansea - 9W 2D 2L

3W 2D 2L - His record for every 3rd league match he is in charge for the last 7 teams he managed

  4. Any ideas for Watford vs Palace ?

Pardew has been sacked, can Big Sam produce magic in his 1st match ?

Hmm...The last 5 clubs he managed (Sunderland, West Ham, Blackburn, Newcastle, Bolton) he only won his opening matches on 2 occasions. Make it 3 if you count the one and only England match he led...

Took a look at his H2H stats against Watford - 5W 2D 2L against Watford (with Bolton, West Ham, Sunderland)

  5. Taking a look at Tony Pulis all-time records against Man Utd:

    With Stoke City - P10 W0 D1 L9, 5 scored 25 conceded

    With Crystal Palace - P1 W0 D0 L1, 0 scored 2 conceded

    With West Brom - P1 W1 D0 L0, 1 scored 0 conceded

Interesting to note that WBA had a very poor H2H against Man Utd when Alex Ferguson was in charge. Both sides met 6 times since AF retired and WBA won 3, draw 2 and lost only once, as compared with 12 losses and 3 draws when Man Utd was under AF

  6. Barcelona match is interesting. They have not been able to win at Anoeta for nearly 10 years.

4 straight wins for Real Sociedad - top form for them now.

Barcelona has scored in all of its 6 away matches but kept only 2 clean sheets

Sociedad has scored in 5 of their 6 home matches and kept 3 clean sheets

    I will pick BTTS yes

Valencia 1.30? You'd have to be on some serious medication to take that. They'll probably win, but they have a lot of improving to do and there are much stronger bets at 1.30 than Valencia that's for sure.

    Indeed indeed

I think Sporting Gijon win/draw double chance looks good

  8. Valencia to win this time round - Should be no mistakes, but I am quite concerned with their weak home form. Hopefully no heartbreaking surprises from them against bottom-table Granada

Sporting Gijon - I am surprised to see Sociedad -0.25 based on their recent performance this season. Thought it should be more than that. I will be wary of this match too.
