Shame about yesterday, but it still nice to see the angles come good after spending time researching them.  And on the plus side I had an e/w bet with skybet paying out at 4.4/1 for the 3rd place, hope some of you guys did too.

It could be worth taken a chance with this fellow, his all weather record reads R33 W9 P15, with 7 of those wins coming here at Southwell.  His southwell record is R12 W7 P11 with profit figures of £18 25 and £22.38 respectively, there are only 7 runners but sky bet are offering 22/1 at 1/5 odds a place with of a 3rd place payout.

Not the most original of selections, but one that's hard to avoid none the less beacuse of the trainers record.  James Fanshawe has a 71% win and 86% win and place strike rate with his handicap runners here at Newcastle

Kempton 7.25 Spring Loaded (5/1 b365)
This fellow is a real all weather specialist, in his 11 races on the artificial surface he has only finished out of the frame once.  He really excells here at kempton with a 100% win and place strike rate, his record reading R6 W4 P2.  He hasn't got a great draw today, being drawn right on the outside but if he can overcome that, his all weather record and here in particular indicates that he'll take some beating

The all weather meeting has been abandoned today beacause the track is waterlogged.  Shouldn't they be charged with contravening the trades description act?  As it's not much of an all weather track is it!

Chepstow 12.50 Distant High e/w (125/1 betbright or 100/1 b365)
I'm interested in a small each way punt on this one.  He didn't show much on his hurdling debut last time out at Ffos Las, but he does have a very good record on the flat here at Chepstow.  His 12 runs have resulted in a 75% win and place strike rate with 3 wins and 6 places (2nd or 3rd finishes).  So at those odds of (25/1 betbright or 20/1 b365 a place) I think he's well worth a small each bet as he clearly has a liking for Chepstow.

I personally rearly watch C4 racing anymore.  In the days of big mac, derek thompson and especially john francome, the coverage was both entertaining and informative.  If john francome put up a tip you would take notice as it would more often than not make the frame and they wouldnt be short price favourites either.  Since these guys were replaced I have found c4's coverage very boring.  The raport that was in abundance with the old presenters just isn't there anymore.  I also find it very annoying that the results section has been ditched.  You are watching a racing programme but never get any racing results. Can anyone tell me of any other televised sport where this happens
