BillyHills
2.40 Southwell: Vivat Rex 6/1 Bet365 Heres an interesting runner at Southwell on the AW today. Vivat Rex has won just twice on the AW from 11 starts and one of those victories was over todays C/D. He used to be trained by Alan Bailey and then went to John Feane in Ireland. The trainer makes the long trip to Southwell today with his first 2 runners at the track. (12.40 Not A Bad Oul Day and 2.40 Vivat Rex) Vivat Rex has been gelded since we last saw him finish 4th at Leopardstown and now wears an eye-cover for the first time. He runs over a mile here for the first time since finishing behind Stuthan in the Irish Lincolnshire Handicap last March.

BillyHills
Hugo Palmer is in decent form at the moment and has a runner at Wolverhampton today. The trainer has only had 4 runners at Wolverhampton in the last 6 months and two of those have won (the two losers were 22/1 and 33/1) . He uses Chelmsford and Lingfield and surprisingly Newcastle much more frequently so its maybe significant he sends one to the Midlands today. BillyHills
Warren Greatrex is the man to follow at Lingfield over the jumps. In the last 5 years he has had 10 winners from just 23 runners at a profit of 26pts 6 of those winners were over hurdles from just 10 races. On Tuesday he has just one runner over hurdles 1.30 Ling: The Nipper 11/8 Paddy Power (also has one runner over fences 1.00 Missed Approach) Jimmy2shoes

BillyHills
Hereford has had 3 meetings since it reopened in October 2016. The winners have been spread out well amongst the trainers with 12 different ones making it to the winners enclosure from the 18 races. Nigel Twiston-Davies however has had 4 winners from his 9 runners and saddles just one runner on Wednesday; 1.20 Her: Bring Back Charlie 4/1 Bet365

Jimmy2shoes
Jockey Daniel Muscutt heads for Kempton Park for just the one sole ride before he then makes the journey to Meydan, he gets the leg up on this 4yr old filly trained by Marco Botti and if she can improve any slight amount on her debut run 2 weeks ago she must have solid claims. She wasn't given a hard intro on her first appearance at Lingfield Park and today's slight extra distance might just bring out a better effort, nothing much else in the field shouts out so Marco's sole representative is taken with confidence to provide us with some wages, we only lose out by being hit with traffic problems. 17:45 Kempton Park - Wahiba Edited January 10, 2017 by Jimmy2shoes BillyHills
BillyHills
Despite top trainers Paul Nicholls and Philip Hobbs having a tremendous amount of success at Exeter the top trainer on a percentage basis by far is Harry Fry. Over the last 5 seasons he has had a 40% win strike rate and a 65% place strike rate. In that time Noel Fehily has had 18 winners at the track and 16 of those were for Harry Fry! Jimmy2shoes
The Champion Jockey was riding at the Scottish track Ayr yesterday then set sail for Exeter, on looking at his 4 rides for gaffer Mr Hobbs i really like the look of 2 of them. The opener doesn't look that Competitive and the 4yr old Son of Kalanisi is yet to score from just the two starts but did run a fine race last time out at Taunton, he'll know what's required today is this (Div 1) and with any small amount of improvement should take home something. 13:00 Exeter - Cigarisi This is a very VERY frustrating Son of Scorpion as he's hit the woodwork more times than a woodpecker, anyone that looks in his stable box would see none other than ''6'' silver medals, cash once again came for him on his last appearance at Taunton when he was a very unlucky loser, he's clearly a fit horse but just keeps meeting ''1'' horse that's just that bit better .......Or Luckier than him on the day. Looking at the field TODAY SURELY must be his day, Paul Nicholls might be the only trainer standing in the way of a first Victory. 15:50 Casper King beaker1 and BillyHills
BillyHills
Paddy Brennan - Ludlow Paddy Brennan, not my cup of tea be honest but you cant help admire his record on Chasers especially at Ludlow over the last few seasons. A strike rate of nearly 35% from almost 50 rides is quite impressive. (17/49) He stands at a profit of 25pts over fences and rides just one on Thursday over the bigger obstacles; 1.50 Lud: Pemba 7/4 Bet365
BillyHills
Alan King and Wayne Hutchinson have a good record when teaming up at Bangor. All together over the last 5 years they have had 11 winners from 31 runners On Monday they have just one runner together 2.20 Bangor: Tomoteo 3/1 Bet365

BillyHills
Nicky Henderson has had 19 winners in the last month, by far the most in form trainer around at the minute (over jumps). Those figures would have been even better but for a couple of last fence fallers when clear. Anyway he also has a good record at Warwick with a 30% S/R from his last 50 runners over 5 years. Today he runs just one horse, in the bumper. Henderson's record in bumpers at Warwick is fairly good with 11 winners from 39 runners. 4.20 War: Duke Debarry 3/1 Stan James
Tedthewolf
Keith Reveley is packing training in at the end of the month and he has few runners in the few remaining days i feel he will have a winner or two so ill be investing in his remaing runners .He has FLORAL BOUQUET in the last at Donny Today and is well worth an E/W bet at 16/1 good jockey booked. Reveleys last 3 runners have finished 2nd so there running well enough.
BillyHills
Tom Lacey is in cracking form at the moment with 7 winners from his last 25 runners. Superb strike rate for a small yard. He runs just one horse at Ayr on Monday which will be a 700 mile round trip. He has booked Richard Johnson to ride in the last race of the day. Must have an EW chance 4.35 Ayr: Storm Nelson EW
