Grigor Dimitrov to beat Kevin Anderson at 2.21 with Pinnacle
Kevin isn't serving at his best right now. He's a bit lower in his standard than usual. He made up for it with good baseline play in his last match but that was only what was enough to beat Ilya Ivashka but Grigor can do a lot more damage than Ilya did. Grigor also owns a 6-1 record in this matchup having won all last 5 meetings with last one being in Stockholm 2016. Grigor seems to have picked up some form in Toronto that I haven't seen from him all season so I think he'll beat Kevin again. It's at least more likely than the odds suggest so at 2.21 I'm more than happy to bet on the bulgarian.

Stefanos Tsitsipas (+1.5 sets) to beat Novak Djokovic at 2.04 with Pinnacle
Stefanos has played some great tennis on hardcourts lately and should have enough chances in this one to win a set.

    A bad-looking injury for Buzarnescu unfortunately .

Maria Sharapova (-1.5 sets) to beat Caroline Garcia at 2.38 with Pinnacle
Masha can blitz through this just like she's done in her two previous matches in Toronto. By giving Dasha Kasatkina three chances to break serve in one game of second set and saving them all I think Masha has a glorious opportunity to take this in 2 sets. She's on a roll and when Masha is on a roll you step in on her.

Grigor Dimitrov to beat Francis Tiafoe at 1.75 with BetVictor
Diego Schwartzman (+1.5 sets) to beat Marin Cilic at 1.74 with Pinnacle
Tiafoe did well to beat Raonic in the previous round, but it seemed to be more about the Canadian losing energy at the end of the match, which is something Grigor shouldn't have any problems with. He should now be boosted by a cracking win over Verdasco and that's why I fancy him quite strongly here, the forehand should do enough damage. And, well, I'm also continuing to ride the Schwartzman wave, not much explanation needed there I believe.

Duckhee Lee to beat Yibing Wu at 2.29 with Pinnacle
Pretty good chance that Duckhee wins this. Not because he is higher ranked but more because of Yibings recent injury problems, he's just started to come back and it will probably take some time for him to find his game again. He was good against Henri Laaksonen last week but one good performance is not enough to convince me that he can beat Duckhee.

Fabio Fognini (-1.5 sets) to beat Steve Johnson at 2.93 with Pinnaclesports
Fabio has an outstanding record on Steve with 3-0 where one of the meetings was at Rogers cup Toronto 2016 and that meeting ended 6-4 6-4 in favor of Fabio. Now Fabio also has done an excellent hardcourt tournament in Los Cabos where he won the title chocking Juan Martin Del Potro in the final by 6-4 6-4 decision and he was scarry good in the semi when he beat Cam Norrie, he didn't give the guy a break even once and the same happened to Juan Martin in the final. Fabio is in form and really dangerous even on hardcourts. His return game will tear Steves serve apart. I don't think Steve was so hot recently in Newport when he won the title, he just won it by his final opponent Ramkumars lack of experience.

Diego Schwartzman to beat Sam Querrey at 2.02 with Unibet
Schwartzman was really impressive against Edmund in the previous round and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get another win here. Querrey has a bigger serve than Edmund and a slightly better backhand, but he's not in a great form at the moment and his mental side could come crashing down if Schwartzman gets some good returns in here and there. 60/40 imo.

Adrian Mannarino to beat Sam Querrey at 2.37 with bet365
I think Adrian deserves a bet here. He reached the quarterfinal of Rogers cup last season and Sam is in awful form and add that Adrian owns a 3-1 record in this matchup having won 3 times on american soil in US open, Cincinnati and Miami. And what we get is a probable win for Adrian.

Marco Cecchinato to beat Francis Tiafoe at 3.30 with Unibet
The Italian has done pretty much nothing on hard courts so far in this season, but I still think that he's worth chancing against Tiafoe, who hasn't exactly done a lot recently and who struggled a bit against Cecchinato when the two met in the Aussie Open qualifiers last year. Cecchinato has improved massively since then, while I can't say the same about Tiafoe. He's the favourite, but not a 1.40 one.

Even though the match isn't finished it still looks like Fabio Fognini is a little bit to good for Cam Norrie so next bet...
Henri Laaksonen (-3.5) to beat James Ward at 2.30 with Pinnacle
Henri beat Yibing Wu last time out and he did so convincingly without losing a service game. James Ward saved 6/7 breakpoints against world no.340 Roman Safiullin and that's not good enough to beat a guy like Henri and it's gonna take a lot for James not to drop serve more then once. So this looks like a match Henri should win without having mutch problems. James is not good right now and he should struggle big time here. Everytime James loses a match this season no matter where the opponent is ranked he loses often by atleast one double break and the same should happen here. He's losses this season have all come by at least 4 games to Jordan Thompson, Benjamin Bonzi, Ilya Ivashka, Sergiy Stakhovsky, Hiroki Moriya, Evan Furness, Harri Heliovaara, Filip Peliwo, Manuel Sanchez and more.

Martin Klizan/Denis Istomin over 23.0 games at 2.09 with Pinnacle
I think Martin will win in the end but it will be close since Denis acctually is playing very good on the surface. So Denis has played good tennis, Martin has played good tennis, conclusion: probably a 3 set match.

Andrey Rublev (-4.5) to beat Denis Kudla at 3.25 with Pinnaclesports
I think Andrey will get his chances for breaks as I can't imagine Denis concentration level to be at it's highest level when he will serve. But it remains to be seen if Denis has enough mental strenght to go for big shots and big serves again. Big risk taken here but it could be worth it.
Alex de Minaur (-1.5 sets) to beat Andy Murray at 3.61 with Pinnaclesports
Andy will have his hands full in this one probably. Hopefully he takes to the court and doesn't retire because I see that as something not to unlikely. I just think Alex will run Andy down or serve him out of the tournament in straight sets. Andy has already played three 3 set matches and it's a lot to cope with when you're started to comeback from injury. He was already tired after his first match in Eastbourne and now he's played so long matches this tournament that I really question his ability to focus on the important points.

Denis Istomin (+2.0) to beat Nicolas Jarry at 1.98 with Pinnaclesports
I belive in Denis again. He was awesome yesterday when he easily dismantled the german Max Marterer but I play it safe this time and go for the +2 handicap since Nicolas is a really tricky customer and this surface is like bread and butter for him. He's hard to beat no doubt but Denis on a small handicap feels quite ok.

Ajla Tomljanovic/Madison Keys over 20.5 games at 1.90 with Pinnaclesports
Have already taken this bet on a higher total, over 21.5 games acctually, but I think this looks fairly reasonable also at a little lower odds but still good enough for a bet. They've met 3 times and two times it's ended with 3 sets. My feeling says Ajla wont give up so easily this time as she lost in straight sets in Wimbledon this summer to Keys and it ended under 20 games and why this total is only at 20.5 games is probably because of that match or it would have been a higher total. So far in San Jose Ajla has crushed qualifier Georgina Garcia Perez in first round and it came as no surprise but she played outstanding on serve as she didn't allow even one breakpoint. She looked like a woman on a mission to go far in this tournament. She's awarded with this rematch and Ajla has beaten Madison once before in 3 sets and this is another possible 3 set match between them without a doubt. Why their encounter in Wimbledon ended in 2 sets could be explained by the surface that suits Madison so well as she's won for example Birminghams grass tournament before, the tournament Petra Kvitova has won several times and other big names. Last season Madison came to Stanford the former venue of this tournament and got Caro Dolehide in first round and she started really slow and lost the first set. Now she hasn't played since Wimbledon and comes equally prepared as last season. Ajla is mutch better than Caro Dolehide and should be able to hold serve enough times for maybe a tie-break and perhaps even take a set as previous 2 of 3 times in this matchup.
