I already failed on darts today with that clown Searle so I doubt this can be as bad as the darts. Kansas should cover pretty easily if they want the best season ending possible.

That was an evisceration. I can't complain too much as I'm on MVG in the outrights, but Bunting was nowhere near it. To be 5-10 points lower than your average in previous matches means you've got no chance. I didn't think he could step up against MVG and it's fair to say I wasn't wrong.

Game over. Bunting just hasn't turned up at all.

A huge evening of Darts tonight with Dobey and Bunting both playing (outright picks). I hope they play to their recent form and don't play the man. We'll be down to just 14 players by the end of the night.
Afternoon matches first and the only one that I'm interested in is Jim Williams against RVB. The winner of that match will face Littler for a chance to make the Quarter Finals.
I expected & hoped for more from Williams than we've seen If I'm honest. Hopefully, he comes out firing tonight but if I had a gun to my head, I'd probably be on Barney. On the front of it, it looks like Williams is flying, with two 3-0 wins and one over Peter Wright. However, he's hit 87.84 and 90.45 averages in those matches and hit just 5 180s in the two matches combined. Barney won 3-1 in his match and hit a 99.81 average; hitting 55% checkout. Barney also won the only head-to-head. Feb this year, 6-2.
We know that every match in this Worlds can be different and this could be a mass of 180s but I think we'll see another tepid display from Jim. Perhaps in the low 90s, and Barney comes through. Hope I'm wrong.

Of the three, Cullen is the only one playing well, Humphreys was very poor for over half that match and Chizzy wasn't much better. Cullen to win the quarter might be worth a look. 

You think Cullen played well? I think Searle handed it to him. If Chizzy gets his scoring to where it normally is then he has every chance against Humphries, I reckon.

I'm probably doing Cullen a bit of a disservice there. He was decent in his scoring. However, it just seemed to me that every time I looked up Searle was missing 6-9 darts for him. 

13/10, 6/4, 10/3 and 10/1 wins today. I thought Humphries was going to hit that 120 with the last 3 darts like MVG did with the 130 yesterday. Interested in the Barney vs Williams match tomorrow. 

And I think Chizzy has been kind of Humphries's kryptonite this season...

Yes, I think Cullen is a better opponent for him, and now he is after this emphatic come-from-behind win.

Humphries will probably beat him. He looked quite vulnerable on the doubles, Cullen.

What's that phrase about cows and banjos  Chisnall takes out 100 in the first set but no more big checkouts and hits the lowest amount of 180's he's probably ever hit in a five set match. Clemens can jog on as well. Could barely hit a 180 in the last round and then turns on the burners when behind against Chisnall in the 180's.

I've just got the 365 boost so far, which is Chisnall to hit 2 or more 100+ checkouts at evens.

I'll also take Chisnall to win and most 180's at 2.20 

I think Villa beat Man United tomorrow. Villa have played 8 games against the top 10 teams. Won 6 lost 2.  They are so impressive, and I would like to see them go on and do a Leicester and win the whole thing.
United are just atrocious. Ten hag has painted himself into a corner. Buying Antony for 82m has been a disaster. The guy is just outta his league, but if he sits him down, ten Hag looks like a clown for buying him. They buy Onana for 44m and Villa buy Martinez for 17m. Go figure!
Against the top teams United have been atrocious this year. They have taken 1 point from a possible 21. 7 matches 1 draw. Fialed to score 5 times, and outscored in these matches 14-2. Seriously, that is pathetic.
It's like the joke going around " A Man United fan and a Chelsea fan meet in hell to watch the game..." . United are just awful, and I am a fan. Watching them is a brutal waste of time.
 
I think Newcastle drop points against Forest. They just look out on their feet, and outta gas. 
For me the 2 away wins as a small double are worthwhile.
