  1. Re: Wimbledon 2013

[... snip ...] Kvitova to beat Makarova 4/5 Boylesports Ok. So I know Kvitova has been struggling with her confidence and had another lapse against Vanderweghe in the first round. I do not take the warm up grass tournaments into account as Wimbledon itself is totally different, For example Makarova has won Eastbourne and did well there last week but her record at Wimbledon so far is terrible, never progressing beyond the second round. The only person who has beaten Kvitova at Wimbledon in the last three years has been Williams and in the last 2 grand slams she lost in a very close third set to both Robson and Hampton. Grass is her best surface and she should get a good few cheap points both on her serve and groundies. If she gets off to a good start Makarova will struggle. She may or may not let her back into the match but I think ultimately will win. The match is on her racquet one way or the other and while many of you might disagree with me but I am not changing my stance on her. I think her price is massive! [... snip ...]
Be warned that Kvitova has health problems with her hip since R1, and she told to the media that she is very glad to have W/O with Shvedova, so that she has two free days more to heal it.
  2. Re: Wimbledon 2013

Funny, there was hardly any BIG upset at French Open, and now the upsets jut rain from heavens, LOL. Today: Vika out, Shvedova out, Tsonga out, Cilic out, Hewitt lost, Ivanovic lost, and it looks like Sharapova is going to be beaten in straights. I must book my bet against Serena for tomorrow quickly :-) edit: looks like Central court is magic. Im gonna make small punt against Fedex.
Hope someone read this and followed inplay :-) Centre Court today is money mill.

  4. Re: Wimbledon 2013 Taking Pospisil to bt this clown Youzhnyi @7.04 Pinnacle (2/10) Pospisil is very talented young Canadian giant. He is firing aces all over, and is really hard to break. Youzhny appears to have acquired an injury during his match with Haase in R1. The upset is very likely. Also taking Halep to bt Li Na @2.71 Pinnacle (5/10) Halep on her dream run in last two weeks. And I see no signs of tiredeness. She leads H2H 1-0, and I don't see any other reason fo Li Na being the fav except the ranking. The odds are falling rapidly. Shvedova to bt Kvitova @3.11 Pinnacle (5/10) Kvitova was lucky to escape the defeat in R1. She somehow managed to lose the second set against poor Vandeweghe, and she was very lucky to get good start in the third, thus demoralizing Vandeweghe. Shvedova is in pretty good form lately, and is going to give Kvit hard times. and finally Jovanovski to bt Flipkens @3,05 Pinnacle (5/10) Flipkens is the losing finalist from last week sHertogenbosh tournament. Being losing finalist on your almost-home soil never adds to your confidence, and Flipkens really had troubles to beat lame Putintseva in R1. H2H is 2-1 for Flipkens, with Jovanovski winning in BEL-SRB Fed Cup played last year in Belgia. This may be tight, but I expect Bojana to send Flipkens packing.

  5. Re: Wimbledon 2013 Strycova to bt Rybarikova @2.59 Pinnacle (5/10) Strycova coming back from ban (took positive stimulant last year) and seems in good form. She breezed through qualies here in Wimby. Rybarikova made semis in Birmingham two weeks ago, however, last week she retired in first set against U.Radwanska at s-Hertogenbosh. IMO healthy Strycova should dispose off injured Rybarikova quite easily.

  6. Re: French Open 2013

    Mattek-Sands > Kirilenko @2.53 Pinnacle (2/10) -2 J.Hampton +1,5 sets > Jankovic @1,800 (6/10) -6
-8 u for today, which brings me back to -1.4 u in this tournament. Well, at least it's not big loss, it has been quite a fun :-) Interesting thing - I must make a research whether it is common that the dogs are mostly playing in clown mode in 4th and higher round in slams.
  7. Re: French Open 2013

OMG' date=' I have backed Haas against everyone here.:hope[/quote'] You proved good judgement :-) Mee too was trapped into following Youzhnyi > Haas cos I just have to rely on others in ATPE here, LOL. But I was lucky to get out by betting LIVE Haas to break this clown Youzhnyi 7th game 2nd. set. There is still the oportunity for others in the third set.
  8. Re: French Open 2013 Back to WTA today. Mattek-Sands > Kirilenko @2.53 Pinnacle (2/10) Kirilenko did not look too comfortably against Voegele, and there is still her retirement against Errani two weeks ago due to left knee injury. If BMS delivers the performance like against Li Na, she can win. J.Hampton +1,5 sets > Jankovic @1,800 (6/10) H2H 1-0 for Hampton, that defeated JJ 2-0 last year at Indian Wells. Jamie in big form here, and JJ is known to lose concentration every now and then.

  9. Re: French Open 2013 Unbelievable, he has done it 3rd time in a row...

He is not going to beat Ferrer' date=' but all credit to Robredo. What a player.[/quote'] Maybe he is not, but in no way I am going against Robredo from now on :-) The safest bet would be Ferrer to win 1st set, LOL.
  10. Re: French Open 2013 Today i am going to take it one time slot after another, and I start with K.Anderson + 6.5 games > Ferrer @1.901 Pinnacle (2/10) Kevin's H2H is 1-1, with recent win in Miami this year (in 3 sets). Last year at FO Kevin brought Berdych to five sets. I do not see this as an easy 3-0 62 62 63 for David, no no.

  11. Re: French Open 2013 What a disappointing day :wall- Hanescu and Dimitrov were mere jokes, Foggy had chances, but blew it...

    Voegele - Kirilenko O19 @1.935 Pinnacle (3/10) Dimitrov +2.5 sets > Djokovic @2.120 Pinnacle (3/10) Hanescu to bt Kohlschreiber @3.11 Pinnacle (2/10) Fognini +2.5 sets > Nadal @3.8 Pinnacle (3/10) Fognini to bt Nadal @29.68 Pinnacle (1/10) Isner +4.5 games > Haas @1.962 Pinnacle (3/10)
    -3.3 u for saturday +8.6 u for French Open
  12. Re: French Open 2013 Littele bit too late probably, but I pulled the trigger a minute ago Isner +4.5 games > Haas @1.962 Pinnacle (3/10) Whether Haas should be such a big fav (Isner @ 3.6ish) is by itself questionable. In addition, Isner never loses too many games in his matches. In Nice last week he even lost to R.Haase when winning by one more game than Haase did :-) I am quite confident here.

  13. Re: French Open 2013 Voegele - Kirilenko O19 @1.935 Pinnacle (3/10) Voegele the most underestimated player of this FO. Her yesterday's win over Kanepi should have boosted her confidence, because she has won being 1-4 down in the decider. H2H cosist of 2 three-setters, Kirilenko retired in Rome, and though her win over Bratchikova and Barty looks impressive, Voegele should be tougher test. Dimitrov +2.5 sets > Djokovic @2.120 Pinnacle (3/10) This is so obvious, that I am afraid a bit that this does not come through. But I just have to try. Dimitrov did beat him in Madrid couple of weeks ago, he looks in good shape here, and I just do not think that Djoker is going to win in 3 sets. Hanescu to bt Kohlschreiber @3.11 Pinnacle (2/10) I do not trust Kohli here. He had a walkover in the 2nd round, and his play vs complete novice Vesely did not look very convincing. Hanescu is experienced grinder, so I give it a try. And of course Fognini +2.5 sets > Nadal @3.8 Pinnacle (3/10) Fognini to bt Nadal @29.68 Pinnacle (1/10) Needs no explanation :-)

  14. Re: French Open 2013 Cesca did her job done, time for the summary

Back Klizan to bt Nadal @61.0 Pinnacle (0.5/10) -0.5 Vesely +6 vs Kohlschreiber @2.02 Pinnacle (5/10) +5.1 Puig to bt Keys @2.08 Pinnacle (3/10) +3,24 Schiavone to bt Flipkens @1.813 Pinnacle (5/10) +4,06
    +11.9 u French Open
  15. Re: French Open 2013 Schiavone to bt Flipkens @1.813 Pinnacle (5/10) The odds opened about 1.78, then reached almost evens (I missed that), and now they dropped little bit back. Normally, Cecsa should be huge fav (remember , she is the Champion from 2010 and the Runner-Up from 2011). IMO Flipkens is overrated due to her recent win over Pennetta (that played really poor), and H2H 1-0 with 3-set win on hard Hobart earlier this year. However, Cesca is much better on clay, especially at French Open. Flipkens massively choked last week in her match vs Hampton on her home soil (served for the match at 5-2 in the decider and lost 5 games in a row), how on earth could she have a chance vs Cesca?

  16. Re: French Open 2013 Spectators just leaving Court #6, looks like Lu really gave it up. I backed him at 12+ too, had no time to examine this nonsense in deep. Now it's clear. @IamGooner - I am considering backing Duque Marino against Bartoli, cos Bartoli was really lucky to get past Govortsova, while Marino just easily steamrolled Pliskova, which is GOOD result. However, Flipkens on clay ... don't be fooled by her win over Pennetta. Flipkens played really bad last week in Bruxelles and Cesca is former FO champion ...

  17. Re: French Open 2013 Puig to bt Keys @2.08 Pinnacle (3/10) I watched Keys during her match with Flipkens last week and I did not like what I saw - too many unforced errors, no gameplan. She lost. I did not watch her match vs Misaki Doi, but Misaki Doi is by far the worst player in the draw, and the win (63 62) was mandatory. On the other hand, Monica Puig did just beat Nadia Petrova, which is very good result. The opening odds were around 2.3, so I missed the best odds, but still I rate Monica big fav here and anything above 2 is value to me.

  18. Re: French Open 2013

It was a quick tote-up in bed, on my tab. I don't really see the point you're making as I only quoted due to a withdraw which would of made the day a perfect 4/4. If that was the case I'd of mentioned the Radwanska win too.. Like i say before, I rarely bet on anything below evens so my "streaks" will be sometimes long loses and all I'd need to get in profit are a few wins. I don't feel the need to explain myself any further mate.
It's OK mate, it's OK. I said the serie is fine, I know well how series look like. I just had to check it myself, didn't meant to offend you and if it did hurt you, pls accept apology.
  19. Re: French Open 2013

+9.20 pts Hit rate is irrelevant to me to be honest. You will see majority of my tips are well over evens. I'd rather hit 4-5 of them then tip everyone "10 pts federer win" at 1.01. Not sure where the sarcasm stems from to be honest.
    3pts M,Raonic vs X.Malisse - Over 33.5 games 2.00 Bet365 +3 1pt X.Malisse to beat M.Raonic 8.00 Bet365 -1 3pts R.Bautista-Agut vs G.Muller - Over 36.5 games 1.80 Bet365 -3 1pt G.Muller to beat Agut 4.00 Bet365 -1 3pts U.Radwanska to beat V.Williams 2.50 Bet365 +4.5 3pts L.Robson to beat C.Wozniacki 2.25 Bet365 -3 1pt L.Robson to win 2-1 5.00 Bet365 -1 2pts P.H.Mathieu to beat J.Nieminen 2.50 Bet365 -2 2pts E.Makarova to beat Kuznetsova 2.50 Bet365 -2 3pts Over 21.5 games F.Pennetta vs K.Flipkens 2.00 Bet365 +3 1.5pts Tursurnov to beat Dolgopolov 4.50 Bet365 +5.25 3pts over 35.5 games 1.75 Bet365 +2.25 2.5pts Pella to beat Dodig 2.50 Bet365 +3,75 2pts D.Istomin to beat F.Mayer 2.37 Bet365 0
I made it for you and I calculated it as +8,75, but that's OK, say within rounding error (or I missed something). The reason why I asked is that often people wait till they get some good hits and then they make a self-cheer post, completely ignoring their (sometimes long) losing streak. Which is unfair. I hope you understand me that this is not meant to offend you in any way. Your serie looks quite good :-)
