Hi all, I am new to this forum, so first I want to than you all for great picks from past few weeks. Here are my selections for today: Bad Gastein doubles (scheduled to 14:05, but there is rain delay, so I hope it is not too late yet:) Benešová/Strýcová-Bacsinszky/Garbin selection: Benešová/Strýcová reason: I rely on the fact that Bacsinszky just finished a 3-set tough semi, which she has won. She will be tired and mentally focused on tomorrow's final, so Benešová/Strýcová should win. odds: 1.9 at my local bookie

LOSS 5:7 6:2 8:10 :$ Apparenly, Bacsinszki had some fuel left.

That was too easy. Sort of stunned at how Golubev just strolled to victory and was like "yeah, and?". Melzer - Golubev will be a cataclysmic confrontation tomorrow.

Actually, Golubev was partly in troubles because of the strong wind that influenced the ball trajectory and threw dirt into his eyes. Fair to add, however, that Mayer suffered too. In addition, there were moments where referees harmed Andrey which did cost him couple of fifteens. He made it through, however, and I am glad because I had relatively huge amount on him . As for tomorrow - if there will be no wind, I think Melzer is going to lose.

Hamburg semi: Florian "Jumping" Mayer vs Golubev selection: Golubev reason: Golubev form is absolutely superb. I watched his matches wih Davydenko an Istomin, and he just did what he wanted with the ball. IMO Mayer is weaker opponent than either Davydenko or Istomin, so if Golubev is able keep repeat his past form, he should easily win. odds: 2.11 at my local bookie
