Eskendash - from Pam Sly yard she likes to target racetrack around where she trains, she has targeted three at this meeting today one in 4.00 and two in this race, I 've went with this 5yo who's been successful at 1m 3f and 1m 4f on good ground and on the all-weather; has also won a hurdle in May, He won three races back at Ripon 1m 4f good but handicapper hit him with a 6lbs rise and next two races where a bit tough but did show signs in last race he's getting use to the extra weight when a class 4 at Beverley 1m 4f good he finished 3rd beaten 6 lengths some 21 days ago , he goes with 1lb off and yard had time to do some extra work on him and the booking of Jamie Spencer and back 2f must be a plus for big race out of him

Atlantic Grey - from Jimmy Frost yard now but this year he's had a wind op when with Nigel Twiston-Davies and then transferred to Nigel Hawke where he only had the one run here over 2m 2.5f in seller race in September before coming to this new yard , He's had the eleven runs through NHF through novice hurdle and handicap hurdle which produced that win two 2nd place and a 3rd place finish ,He goes off same 105 mark with Bryony Frost claiming 3lbs off for his first run for this yard who's only had the six days to work on him

Nicholas T - from Jim Goldie yard its the only turf runner for yard today and sends him down a long way from Uplawmoor in East Renfrewshire although he drops three horses off at Newcastle AW for the evening meeting , Jim has a habit of sending horses down looking for a big price horse in frame and sometimes gets a winner
He has won four times at 1m on good to firm and good ground and been a runner-up a few times this year at 1m and 1m 2f he has a each-way squeak as he's down to 89 mark which he's finished twice 2nd this year off that mark with Alistair Rawlinson in saddle today

William Of Orange - got to go with King Billy here the Donald McCain Jnr trained horse the 7yo had a wind op after his first run this year in March since then its been a bit hit and miss in the six races since he wins one then loses the next so three wins and three out the frame so the sequence should see a win today, Although the yard has been increasing the distance after each win but this time after a 5th place finish at Cartmel 3m1.5f soft they bring him back in distance to 2m7f 207y which is up as 3m on good conditions and goes well on with the handicapper taking a 1lb off for last race poor showing but Lorcan Murtagh claiming 5lbs off and keeping the ride

Le Maharajah - from Tom Clover yard the 3yo only took to a racetrack in April this year and had three turf runs two of which where 2nd place finishes the yard went and gelded him in July he was run again in August at Windsor 1m 2f GF with handicapper giving him a mark of 72 after those three earlier runs but being gelded made no difference as he finished 7th of 9 runners beaten 22 lengths he even went off 9/4 fav , The yard sent him to Lingfield AW 1m 2f where again finished 7th of 9 runners but was a lot closer beaten 6 lengths and faded in last furlong, that race was 20 days ago and handicapper took 3lbs of for todays race and the yard will have worked on his stamina to finish race out also the blinkers coming on for first time will also help with Josephine Gordon in saddle, This could be the chance of getting their money back after flopping when he went off as favourite two races back and at 25/1 right now could be worth a e/w

Morley, He's been successful at 5f and 6f on good to firm and good ground with last success coming two races back at Newmarket 5f GF and first win for this yard after a run of four place finishes, His last race was 74 days ago when handicapper hit him with 6lb rise but extra weight was to much and he finished 7th beaten 6 lengths , The yard has had time to get him more fitter and build his stamina up and with 1lb off by handicapper now running off 89 mark and Edward Greatrex coming into ride for the first time

He ran here at end of July and finished 7th of 27 runners he was only beaten 1.75 lengths and was running on in final furlong , He's had a couple of lesser race since then and handicapper took 1lb off after those two races , The yard probably targeted coming back here and the 1lb off and young Conor McGovern claiming 3lbs off could see him run off 86 a 1lb less than last winning mark 87 could well find frame at big price,

He's trying to go back to back wins something he's not done since 2016 season and that time the first win came at Musselburgh and guess what his last race win was at Musselburgh 7f GF when beating Jacob Black by 1.25 lengths that win cost him a 5lb penalty which sees him run off 74 today his highest win mark , The yards have had 38 days to work on him and should be fresh and fit with Paul Hanagan in saddle.
